00:00He's ready to travel to Taiwan for his three-day, two-night vacation in Brazil Sea.

00:08In his March 5 flight, he made a video at IA Terminal 3 out of excitement.

00:13His wife gave him a ticket to Taiwan as a gift.

00:16But the plan to unwind became stressful after being offloaded.

00:21When I arrived at the immigration booth,

00:24there were no more questions.

00:26I was immediately followed by an immigration officer in their office.

00:30I waited for a few minutes before they called my name.

00:36So I waited.

00:38When they called me, I immediately followed an immigration officer.

00:42Here he was asked again that he seemed to have done something wrong.

01:19But their friends left Hong Kong in November 2024 and went straight to Jeju Island in South Korea.

01:26On their way back, they took a connecting flight via Taiwan.

01:30What he didn't like were the questions that he thought were unnecessary.

01:38Ask for your bank statement.

01:41Do you have a husband?

01:43What is your husband's job?

01:45I told him that my husband is in the government.

01:47He suddenly asked me, what is your husband's rank?

01:51Brazil has reached a trauma after the offloading incident.

01:55The flight and hotel accommodations were spent more than Php30,000.

02:01Even though I have proof that I can afford to travel,

02:07I don't have the right to multi-city travel.

02:12According to the Bureau of Immigration, there is a weak travel pattern found in Brazil.

02:17There are inconsistencies in his statements and documents that were shown.

02:23He also found suspicious travel patterns in the trips that were presented.

02:31The BIA said that it's not detailed because it's private, but it's usually seen in the itinerary of tourists.

02:39Itinerary of an individual is part of the things that we are looking into,

02:44as well as this pattern that was seen in previous cases of human trafficking.

02:50If this travel pattern keeps on repeating, for example,

02:54or it's seen in an individual and it's repeatedly seen in previous cases of human trafficking victims,

03:03it becomes a red flag for the immigration officer who is assessing the traveler in front of him.

03:11The former record of Brazil's offloading was also unknown.

03:15That's why this happened again.

03:17According to other questions, Brazil did not need to investigate this by the BIA.

03:22Hearing that the position or rank of the partner would not be part of the regular questions,
