00:00So Wendy Williams may have her night in shining armor to get her out of this guardianship in the
00:08embodiment of one Joe
00:10Takapina
00:11What he would look in armor how we'd look in armor. We saw him going to battle
00:16Jacked we saw him go into battle for a SAP Rocky
00:20Successfully getting him acquitted of the assault charges here in LA
00:25But now Joe Takapina is considering or I mean I guess at this stage it's possible
00:30He's talked to Wendy Wendy talked to him Wendy really likes him
00:33and you know, there's a process where you have to get approved by the judge and the whole thing, but
00:39Joe's her guy. It's pretty clear. He is very interested in this case whether or not he actually signs on
00:46We know this because you know, I'm like, you know where my money is, right? He's gonna do it
00:50I know you're hoping he does but you spoke to him on the two angry men podcast
00:55Which was three anger goes with Joe there was Joe angry. No, he wanted to mark I get it
01:00He literally said he wanted to be the third angry man. He did he seems more. How do I say this?
01:05I don't insult you but charming
01:08Now does a bulldog does a bulldog he is but he does it with a smile and and he's effective. There's no
01:15Denying that with his track record
01:17This is a big deal because all of this has been done in private
01:21Everything's sealed. You can't go into the courtroom when the judge wrote about Wendy's case when he's been like a prisoner in this
01:30assisted living facility where she can't even get off the floor and
01:35So we talked about that in the podcast and I kind of pushed him on this a little bit
01:41And something happened in the middle too that was just nuts what I am told is that Wendy Williams
01:49Wants to hire you Joe to get out of this guardianship. Here's all say about that. I
01:55Watched your documentary. I was almost moved to tears when I watch that
02:00I was quite frankly a little bit outraged and I have to look into it. I really do or me and you know, I
02:06spoken and
02:09Look what I feel something's wrong. I feel people being wronged, you know, it gets my my gander up. Um, hey guys
02:14I'm literally sitting here and somebody from Wendy's camp just sent me this
02:21Vanity Fair just posted a
02:24long article on
02:27Wendy and the documentary I want to read you a couple of things and get your opinions about this about
02:33Wendy's ability to leave the building. Nobody's saying that Wendy can't leave a building. This is more
02:40This is Sabrina Morrissey the Guardian
02:43Wendy's two trips to Florida for her son's college graduation and her father's 94th birthday
02:49But this has become a threat
02:51Okay, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna weigh in on this
02:56The judge I'm told and I'm getting this through Wendy
03:00The judge initially said she couldn't go to Florida for her dad's 94th birthday and
03:06Reversed it after the documentary came out. She was able to go for two days
03:11Yeah, shit that made the judge allowed her to go for her son's graduation
03:16That said in the 30 days before my interview with her which was on January 20th
03:22She had been outside to get fresh air
03:26twice both times to go to the dentist
03:30Mom bosses go out on furloughs for funerals like that, right?
03:34She's a prisoner in this room. I mean that that is to characterize it as she's free to go
03:42It's ridiculous absurd. It's yours. There's no greater advocate working today than Joe tecapina
03:47I mean and this is what Wendy is one all along
03:49She's wanted an advocate for herself and she doesn't feel that she's had that
03:53He is coming off obviously a huge victory in the ASAP Rocky case
03:56He is an incredible advocate the way he speaks his command of a room is great
04:01She could do a lot worse than Joe tecapina
04:03And I gotta say if he's really taking your side and going in there to fight for her
04:07I give her a pretty good shot of getting this thing thrown out
04:10Well, let me tell you how he fights for her the way it works in
04:14New York is ultimately a jury trial that you'd go before a jury and if that's how you would have to get rid of the
04:21Guardian that's how you get rid of the guardianship
04:23Joe tecapina is class a in terms of being in a courtroom and
04:27he said on the podcast that
04:31He would get a quicker verdict then he got in ASAP Rocky and ASAP Rocky only took an hour
04:36Yeah, and um, you know when a jury here's Wendy Williams. She gets in the stand
04:43She does what she did in the documentary what she did with Charlamagne what she did with Rosanna Scott
04:48Oh what she did with her niece Alex what she did with her caregiver Gina
04:52Everybody who's talked to her said she's the old Wendy. Why is she under any guardianship? And by the way, there's one other thing
05:00You should listen to this podcast. It is so dishy. I mean Joe gets into a the judge
05:07Kind of played a joke on ASAP Rocky Joe in the ASAP Rocky case. I can't believe this story
05:12It's a great story. So it's been two angry men. You can find it wherever you get your podcast
05:18Savannah from South Carolina
05:19Wendy Williams is so right to push back on her
05:22Conservatorship because the Wendy we're seeing now is a far cry from the Wendy that we saw last year who was basically mentally
05:28Incapacitated that does make me wonder can somebody just totally recover from such an extreme low and have it last
05:34Or is there more that we don't know about her health as far as why she's in a conservatorship still even though she looks so
05:41Healthy, I'm not a doctor, but she was drinking heavily
05:46At her worst she's not drinking now and
05:50Look what you see if it were really that dementia. She would never have gotten better
