00:00Flight data recorder from the crashed FA-50 has been recovered according to the Philippine Air Force.

00:06Two of its pilots were injured.

00:10Patrick De Jesus is in the center of the news.

00:15Six years in the Philippine Air Force,

00:1929-year-old First Lieutenant A.J. Dadulia

00:23is one of the pilots who was injured in the crash of the FA-50 fighter jet

00:28at Mt. Kalatungan in Bukidnon.

00:30Dadulia is expected to get married next week

00:34to his fiancée, who is also a pilot.

00:36And this is one of the preparations

00:38based on his last conversation with his older brother.

00:42On Saturday, he asked if we would sell our father's wheelchair

00:47so that he can be transported to his wedding next week.

00:52After the wedding, he wants to spend a few days

00:58or maybe a week with his fiancée.

01:01Dadulia was in Bukidnon where the accident happened

01:05in the middle of tactical night operations

01:08against members of the New People's Army.

01:11It is sad to know that this happened to him.

01:17Although he is far from us

01:20the accident happened in the southern part of Bukidnon

01:25and we are in the northern part, near Tagaytayoro.

01:28It is really sad.

01:31A.J. sacrificed his life for the country.

01:35That's why we feel a little bit sad.

01:41With Dadulia in the crash of the FA-50,

01:44Major Jude Salangoy,

01:46the Armed Forces of the Philippines

01:49ordered the two pilots to be evacuated.

01:52All aspects of the investigation will be left to us

01:55including the mechanical and human factor.

01:58The flight data recorder was also recovered

02:00from the crashed FA-50.

02:03What we're going to find there are the usual data,

02:07flight data, all the flight data, the altitude,

02:10the airspeed, all the other things.

02:13We can assure you that our pilots are very proficient

02:17and competent pilots.

02:19They've been flying this aircraft for several years.

02:22They are well-trained for day and night operations

02:25and we honor them for their service and heroism.

02:2911 FA-50 jets of PAF are still grounded

02:32while the investigation is ongoing.

02:35This will also be the basis of PAF's proposal

02:37to buy 12 FA-50s from South Korea.

02:41It's too early to tell.

02:43And so far the FA-50 has had a very good track record in its service.

02:48So I don't think it will be an issue.

02:51Although I don't want to jump the gun

02:53on any decision that will be taken by the DMV or the AFP.

02:57The AFP is continuously searching

03:00for the members of the NPA

03:03where the FA-50 crashed gave air support.
