00:00In Rockets 4, did the Filipino Squashers make their debut on the first day of the Philippine Satellite Squash Tour yesterday held at the National Squash Center in Manila?

00:15The first day of the Philippine Satellite Tour started yesterday, organized by the Philippine Squash Academy, which will last from March 6 to 9 at the National Squash Center in Manila.

00:25The first round was led by the Philippine Squashers, Raymarc Begorña, David Peliño, and Christopher Boraga, who both made it to the quarterfinals held this afternoon.

00:36Aside from this, the presence of the other Filipino Squashers, Van Aero Angelo Dalida and Jonathan Reyes, will also be seen in the quarterfinals.

00:45They were able to score 3-0 against their opponents.

00:48Since I don't have a ranking in the world, I want to make this an opportunity for other players from other countries to play. I want to make this an opportunity for them to learn.

01:08One of the foreign participants and PSA ranking member, Kingsley Advani, will also compete against the Philippine Squashers.

01:19The level of squash in the Philippines is very strong, very competitive, and it's growing even stronger.

01:25Their foreign head coach and former world number 5, Wewer Lowe, will also share how important this kind of event is for the country.

01:36It's good to have different people to challenge them, and like I said, we don't often get to have the whole team travel overseas.

01:44So by organizing tournaments here is one way we can expose the rest of the team to different players, different exposure, having to challenge different players.

01:53So I think it's a great hunting ground for them, especially playing here in their home courts as well.

01:58Today, the top squash players of the country, Jumaica Arribado and Mark Begornia, were able to compete.

02:04Each of them is hoping to win a championship that will help them improve their PSA rankings.
