00:00Hello there, good evening. It's a different night to come for some of us, not turning
00:04quite as chilly, but the reason for that is that there's more cloud around, and with cloud
00:09that also means some showers and some longer spells of rain just drifting their way north-eastwards
00:14through the course of the evening and overnight, leading to quite a wet start for some of us.
00:17But it's not going to be a total washout across parts of the south and south-east, remaining
00:21largely dry, with some clearer skies too, and some clear spells across parts of Scotland
00:26where temperatures may just dip away, perhaps a patchy frost here, but for many towns and
00:31cities it's going to be a very mild night on offer, particularly if you compare it to
00:34earlier in the week, some towns and cities perhaps even remaining in the low double digits.
00:41A mild start, but quite a wet and cloudy one, particularly across parts of Wales, northern
00:45parts of England, parts of the south-west. This cloud could be quite murky at times,
00:49leading to quite a gloomy start. Eventually, cloud and rain slowly shifting its way northwards,
00:54but plenty of cloudy skies remain. The best of the brightness across parts of the south-east,
00:59where we should see some sunny spells once again, and also across northern parts of Scotland
01:03we should see some sunshine too, and temperatures are still widely above average for the time
01:07of year, so it's certainly not going to be feeling chilly. Highs of around 15 to 16 celsius
01:12across parts of the south-east.
01:15And through into the evening and overnight, once again we're going to see plenty of cloudy
01:19skies, and the outbreaks of rain slowly shifting their way northwards, leading to quite a wet
01:23start across parts of Scotland. Any rain and cloud largely easing across central and
01:29southern parts of the UK, and still once again quite a mild night on offer, but just quite
01:33wet and cloudy across parts of Scotland, and we'll eventually start to see some outbreaks
01:38of rain start to push their way into Cornwall. So, turning wet across parts of the south-west,
01:43also quite a wet start across Scotland, but through the course of the morning we'll see
01:47any cloud or rain slowly petering away, and that means for the start of the weekend, once
01:52again we're going to see lots of dry weather by the time we reach the afternoon. Some sunny
01:56spells particularly across parts of the east and south-east, perhaps more kind of milky
02:00sunshine into western areas as we see a build of higher clouds, but temperatures still warm
02:05for the time of year. Highs of 15, 16, possibly even 17 celsius across parts of northern England
02:12for the start of the weekend. So, a wet start for some, yes, but likely brightening up by
02:17the time we reach the afternoon.
02:20That's everything from me. Bye-bye for now.
