00:00So I thought I'd give you a sense as to how we're staying on air on 612 ABC Brisbane through
00:06Tropical Sightline Alfred.
00:08So our regular studios are across the river at the ABC Southbank site, that's our headquarters
00:13here in the River City, but it's an area that's pretty susceptible to flooding, so we've packed
00:17up pretty much everything to set up a temporary studio in a hotel conference room, and this
00:22is where we will be hosting our coverage over the next couple of days, because it's not
00:26just about Tropical Sightline Alfred and the winds it will bring, but then it's the storm
00:31surge and the flooding rains that will result from it as well.
00:35It's still hanging off the coast, it will do at least until Friday night into Saturday
00:40morning is what the Bureau is talking about, but the many effects will be felt right across
00:45the region.
00:46That's why we are here, to keep all our listeners informed and up to date and answer their questions
00:51so they feel prepared for whatever Sightline Alfred may bring.
