Virtues and Benefits of Surah Al-Mulk (فضائل سورة الملك)

Surah Al-Mulk, also known as “The Protector” (المانعة), is a powerful chapter that shields believers from the punishment of the grave and intercedes for them on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) emphasized its immense rewards:

"It is a protector, a rescuer, saving from the punishment of the grave."
(Reported by Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 2891)

This Surah reminds us of Allah’s supreme power, the purpose of life, and the reality of the Hereafter. It strengthens faith, instills gratitude, and offers divine protection.



1. Surah Al-Mulk Protects from the Punishment of the Grave

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"There is a Surah in the Quran of thirty verses that will intercede for a man until he is forgiven: 'Blessed is He in Whose Hand is dominion' (Surah Al-Mulk)."
(Reported by Abu Dawood, Hadith 1400)
