Donald Trump has hinted that a trade deal may be on the cards with the UK which would allow for tariffs between the two nations to be lifted. The US President called Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer a "tough negotiator" and said he had tried to persuade him not to impose trade tariffs on the UK. "I think there's a very good chance that in the case of these two great, friendly countries, I think we could very well end up with a real trade deal where the tariffs wouldn't be necessary. We'll see," Mr Trump added. Report by Kennedyl. Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/itn and follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/itn
