If you want to review exercise files in SketchUp, follow these steps:
1. Open the Exercise File
Launch SketchUp and go to File Open.
Select the exercise file (.skp) and open it.
2. Navigate and Explore the Model
Use the Orbit (O), Pan (H), and Zoom (Scroll Wheel) tools to move around.
Switch between different views using the Scenes Panel (if available).
3. Check Model Components
Open the Outliner (Window Outliner) to see how objects are organized.
Use the Entity Info panel to check properties of selected objects.
4. Inspect Layers & Tags
Go to Tags Panel (formerly Layers) to see how different elements are categorized.
Hide or show layers to understand the model’s structure.
5. Check Materials & Textures
Open the Materials Panel to review applied textures.
Use Paint Bucket (B) to modify or replace materials.
6. Measure and Analyze Dimensions
Use the Tape Measure (T) tool to check dimensions.
Enable Dimensions (Tools Dimensions) to review key measurements.
7. Explore Components & Groups
Double-click objects to check if they are Groups or Components.
Edit components to see if changes apply to other instances.
8. Check Model Performance
Open Model Info (Window Model Info Statistics) to check polygon count and performance.
