00:00OK, Greg, you've managed not to address the issue of President Zelensky, which was the
00:05thrust of my question. I just wanted to know what you think of how he's played his cards
00:09the last few days, because we have seen quite a bit of friction, a bit of a war of words
00:15going on between Kyiv and Washington. I'd like to get your take on that.
00:19Yeah, no, sorry, I thought you were talking about Putin. But yeah, Zelensky, look, you
00:24know, he was very cooperative at first, you know, when Trump had won the election, maybe
00:29right before the inauguration, right after. And then he got into a little heat last week.
00:33I think that was a mistake. But he's looking for an off-ramp, too. And I think the fact
00:38that he conceded over the weekend that he'd be happy to resign if there is a satisfactory
00:45resolution, I think is a great sign. We're never going to get that from Putin, obviously.
00:50But you know, I think that was a step in the right direction. Last week, when he had a
00:54little spat with Scott Besant and the Secretary of Treasury, and with Trump himself, I thought
01:01that was a mistake, because he was negotiating, and he ended up cooperating in terms of the
01:09potential partnership on rare earth elements and critical minerals will be great for Ukraine,
01:14not just great for the US.
