00:00Senator Risa Ontiveros divulged that a new scheme linked to the now-banned Philippine offshore gaming operations or Pogo is happening through a travel advertisement.
00:09An all-expense-paid trip with limited slots available.
00:13When such offer a free trip to Thailand is being marketed as a travel incentive.
00:18However, the senator warned that this is actually a deceptive plan to lure unsuspecting individuals into illegal activities.
00:24What makes this even more alarming, Senator Ontiveros says,
00:28is that there are already some who have fallen prey to the said ploy.
00:31Meanwhile, amid the ongoing Pogo ban,
00:34Senate President Francis Escudero also revealed the possible existence of Philippine inland gaming operations or Pigo.
00:41He stressed the need to carefully assess Pigo to ensure it does not pose similar risks.
00:58In Pigo, Filipinos gamble.
01:12So what we are saying is that it is prohibited for foreigners.
