U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov disagreed on whether peacekeepers would be present in Ukraine.
Lavrov said on Wednesday that Russia was not considering agreeing to European peacekeepers deploying in Ukraine, and that the idea was a "deceit" aimed at allowing Ukraine to rearm.
