00:00...visited my friend Governor Gwen Garcia, catch up with Victoria Han, and then of course Magayasayang Tapang, Magdalen, Sab as Senator of Cebu, but of course I want to be the Senator of Cebu.

00:21...In the last election I heard things about him. So kung okay sa mga suonan sa Cebu, of course, if it's possible to be number one, why not?

00:37...I don't think and ultimately dik mo makakita ng Senator na ato sa Cebu na di lang kurang bahay ang Cebu, pero truly I feel it's my home.

00:49...I visited from north to south, San Ben, Bobo, along to Consolacion, Liloan. Liloan, few times na ako nagkarera. Actually to be honest, most of my visits there has to do with sports.

01:03...that's why when I'm speaking to him about sports, sabi niya, ikaw may alam niya. All the way down to the south, out of Cebu City, Lalisay, Carcar, and then Gumanhog, all the way to Santander, back to Oslo, the other way.

01:21...I don't think na ulit-ulit na ang maghita ng Senator na nakahimo, nakapisita sa panay ng mga cities and municipios sa province. So I represent myself as one, as a citizen.

01:38...not to mention my Bisaya. It's not so bad. Mga class lang naman.

01:42Even a press term this May, Sen. what would be your focus?

02:13So I was telling her about the Doktor para sa Bayan na kami ni Sen. Tito Soto ang nag-pass ng law, but ako ang nagbutang sa budget.

02:22So unlike Cebu Normal, it started with Php18 million and every year nagbutang ko ng budget to complete the program.

02:29It's not enough na naka-scholarships for the students, kinahanglan na facilities. If a school is made for 30 students, med school, that's what their capacity is to graduate.

02:39So just because we pass a law doesn't mean 60 students can suddenly study there. Is there enough laboratory equipment? Are there enough professors?

02:49So tama niyan, I study and I put budget. And I'm so proud to say na all over the country, in 2020 before the law was passed, there were eight state universities and colleges.

03:01Now there are 20. And Cebu Normal is one of those colleges. But aside from that, the story of K-PoG is not just the doctors but all the allied professions.

03:14From nursing to physical therapists, occupational therapists, radiotechs, kulang. They graduate and then they leave. So we have to have more programs.

03:27And I will support the budget all the way. Kung ako pa rin ang chairman ng budget ng health education, which I hope I will be. I will volunteer myself.
