00:00I'm just over the moon. I really am. It's just everything that Lee would have wanted.
00:21Obviously, I've been looking after the Lee Barry estate for many, many years, so it's
00:24great to see every single costume have a place and all the archival material being seen by
00:29everybody. Lee was a very mischievous person and he was always performing. It was just
00:36really, really funny. He was very outrageous. He came out with lots of naughty things all
00:41the time.
01:00Lee was someone who came to the UK from Australia. He worked in Burger King briefly. He had very
01:07little money throughout his life and it was, towards the end of his life, kind of a frustration,
01:13but he still managed to create this whole world around him. I think, if anything, that
01:18constant desire to create, to collaborate with friends, I find very inspiring myself
01:24and I hope our visitors feel that too.
