00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the government agencies to make the Department of Water Resources Bill as simple as possible.

00:10This is to create a more effective and reliable water supply system in the country.

00:22President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. wanted the Department of Water Resources or DWR Bill to be better.

00:31In a sectoral meeting in Malacanang, the executive board helped the concerned government agencies to discuss the so-called bill.

00:39Here, he ordered the government agencies to simplify the DWR Bill to create a clear and effective system that will eliminate unnecessary processes.

00:50It will strengthen regulations and ensure a clean and reliable water supply.

00:55At the same time, NEDA also urged the chief executive to certify the bill as urgent.

01:02This is to address the country's long-term challenge to manage water and productivity in agriculture.

01:09NEDA also urged the DWR to contribute to the country's efforts to achieve comprehensive water security through the integration of the government and regulation of water in the country.

01:21It is time for the Department of Water Resources to be formed under its mandate to unify, strengthen, and monitor the government's regulation and distribution of water in the country.

01:32It also aims to address the long-standing problem of lack of clean water, water supply, and sustainable support in agriculture and industry for the country's prosperity.

01:45Aside from water, the President also wants to improve the expected internet connectivity, particularly in Metro Manila.

01:52Under the leadership of the MMDA, the President discussed the Metro Manila Smart City Infrastructure for Network Resilience Project,

02:00a program that will make the fiber-optic network centralized and will directly connect 17 LGUs in Metropolis, MMDA, and DICT.

02:09Under the leadership of the President, through the aforementioned project, better traffic management, faster response to accidents, real-time flood level monitoring,

02:21faster coordination with LGUs, and prompt assistance in times of emergency will be ensured.
