00:30Oh
01:00Oh
01:24We're not there yet pal it's further this way
01:27Well, you smell the bees don't you I'm not that comfortable around them either
01:34Hey
01:37How goes it good, but we couldn't begin processing the scene until the bees went inside their hives for the night
01:43Do we have an ID for the victim Nancy Lake apparently one of the top beekeepers on the island. This is her apiary
01:50Who found her Carly want to make her she's in the victim's house waiting for you to interview her. Okay, good
01:56What was the cause of death? Well, the autopsy will reveal all but she's just a mass of bee stings
02:04The suit didn't protect her no
02:07Surprisingly these bees attacked relentlessly. So the suit couldn't offer that much protection
02:12She might have an underlying condition as well
02:15Okay, well
02:17Right now all I see is a tragic accident. Why am I here because we found this into her body
02:26The Queen is dead
02:43So tell me Carly how did you come to find her
02:47We're supposed to get together this evening to discuss the upcoming beekeepers Association meeting. You were both
02:53members, yeah, Nancy is that
02:57Who was the president
03:01When she didn't show up I tried calling her but she didn't answer
03:05What was that unlike her? She always had her phone on her
03:09When she didn't answer I decided to come here to see what was up
03:12What made you look in the apiary if she wasn't here in the house, then she was always out there with her bees. I
03:20Saw the note
03:23It's horrible who would leave something like that
03:26I don't know yet
03:28But do you have any idea who might have wanted to hurt her? There is one person
03:33He's a Lee. She's the vice president of the Association and there was trouble between them
03:40And Nancy accused hazel of misappropriating Association funds. It got ugly. I see
03:47Where is he going? I'm not sure he's alerting to something
03:59Excuse me
04:05Found something
04:12Banana
04:17You're usually right about these things Rex, but I'm wondering if those bees haven't gotten you all screwed up
04:22I don't think he's screwed up at all
04:26In fact, I think Rex might be on to something you mean the bananas, correct?
04:31I was curious about a stain on Nancy's bee suit
04:38Yeah, it seems fresh exactly so we did an analysis turns out it's banana oil
04:45Banana oil like you find it a health food store. Yep, huh?
04:53You know, it's just it's kind of creepy the way he comes up with things no kidding
04:57When bees sting they emit a pheromone signaling that there's danger
05:01Yeah, I've read about this the other bees sense the pheromone and they rush to help this one the enemy
05:05Yeah, the pheromones chemical makeup is very similar to banana oil
05:09Wait, so the the banana oil and Nancy's suit could have triggered the attack, right?
05:17Question is did it get on her suit accidentally or did someone put it there? We'll keep looking
05:26Forensics is processing the note. We found pinned to Nancy. They're looking for fingerprints paper type and source the printer used
05:33Anything that might help identify whoever sent it
05:35What do we make of the wording in the note the Queen is dead?
05:38I think the killer is just making a very clear statement. The Queen of local beekeeping Nancy is
05:43Is dead. I'm not convinced. It's that simple
05:46Oh, what do you got Jesse? I'm just waiting on a warrant for Nancy's phone email text messages
05:51Once that comes in and we'll jump right on it. What about the banana oil?
05:55I'm running a list of shops that sell banana oil, but apparently it's pretty trendy and it could take a while
06:00Also, there's a good chance. It was purchased online
06:02Okay, what else we got Carly mentioned that Nancy was never without her phone
06:06We combed her home in apiary, but couldn't find it
06:10Hmm any obvious suspects
06:13Dug into Nancy's personal life. She was divorced about a year and a half ago, but there wasn't really much trouble there
06:17Carly also said that Nancy and the beekeepers associations vice president. He's a lead didn't get along money management issues
06:24That fits with what I found
06:25It turns out that hazel was convicted of defrauding a charity
06:28Six years ago
06:31She was sentenced to community service, okay, so nancy's beef with her could have been merited
06:36I'm gonna pay hazel a visit. Okay, let's do it. Right. Let's go
06:58The waxes will be
07:05Yeah
07:06Hi there. Welcome
07:08That particular honey is very flavorful
07:12Hens of coltsfoot dandelions and fireweed sounds delicious. Oh, it is from my personal apiary amazing
07:21I'm actually here to see you hazel and you are sir. June sjpd. This is
07:26my partner rex
07:28You must be here about nancy
07:30I suppose, you know, she and I had our moments
07:34It was just a misunderstanding that blew up. Oh was your previous conviction also a misunderstanding?
07:42No, which is why I was so angry at nancy I worked very hard to put that mistake behind me
07:48And she brought it all up again
07:51Thank god or not it cleared me i'm aware
07:54But you were angry I could have lost everything
07:58But
08:00But if you think I killed her you're crazy, where were you last night
08:06Having a quiet night in is there anyone who can corroborate that unfortunately not
08:13Can you think of anyone who might have wanted to harm nancy
08:16Her ex-husband leo bogner. They had some serious disagreements in the past over marital issues. God. No
08:23over bees
08:26Excuse me
08:35I have to say i'm a bit surprised. Mr. Bogner. I thought you were a beekeeper not a brewmaster
08:40Oh, I still am I have hundreds of hives in over two dozen apiaries around the island. It's a sizable operation
08:46It's bigger than most and the truth is I consider myself an industrial beekeeper at this point
08:50A huge part of my business is renting out hives to cranberry farmers needing to pollinate their plants in the brewery
08:57I use a surplus honey to make need the demand is so high. I can barely keep up
09:02But I don't think you're here to talk about business
09:05No, i'm looking into the death of your ex-wife
09:08I was devastated to hear about what happened to nancy
09:11And sounds like there's a rumor going around that it might not have been an accident
09:17I just want to come right out front and say I had nothing to do with her death
09:20Do you have you argued in the past?
09:24We did
09:26But it was often about the same thing
09:28It eventually cost us our marriage
09:31I understand that you you fought about bees
09:35I just got tired of getting by selling honey and beeswax candles at farmers markets
09:42Okay, so there were no
09:44ill feelings towards her
09:46none
09:47Where were you last night where I always am here working
09:52It's an around the clock business this time of year we'll want to confirm that with employees who are here with you
09:57In the meantime, do you have any idea who might have wanted to harm nancy?
10:01Yeah
10:03garrett bruce
10:06He's an urban apiarist, why would he be angry with nancy nancy and garrett were lovers
10:11Were that's right. And from what I hear he didn't handle the breakup very well
10:17Um
10:24Uh an urban apiarist is um
10:27Uh, well, we're the new generation, you know
10:29We uh, we can't afford the farms and the fancy equipment and the antibiotics that are ruining the world doing things a little differently
10:38We're just trying to make it work as simply as we can where we are and where you are is downtown
10:43urban 100
10:47Do you make these uh, yes. Yeah, it's my uh side hustle
10:52Be yourself. I uh, you got to make ends meet
10:57So I understand that you and nancy were involved until recently how did you two meet
11:03We uh met when she helped me set up this colony
11:13Yeah, nancy was just out of her marriage
11:15We made each other happy for a while but you broke up we did yeah, you know, I uh
11:22I don't know what happened. You know, I think maybe she just um outgrew me
11:26Like a queen bee moving on from a drone. Uh-huh
11:31How did you take it
11:33Uh, not well, but you have to understand right nancy had been everything to me
11:40Okay, I know how this looks but I'd have never heard her
11:45I
11:47Don't think rex likes bees
11:51I think probably what he doesn't like is the uh, the smell of death
11:57Uh, my colonies collapsed a couple weeks ago the bees are all dead
12:02Oh what happened
12:04Who knows?
12:06You see that's why I need a nancy. She could work magic with bees
12:10Yeah
12:12Okay, garrett, where were you last night I camped out near cape spear and just watching the stars
12:20By yourself
12:21It's the only way to
12:22Really be one with nature
12:31Forensics ran tests on some fresh pollen stains
12:34They found on nancy's bee suit likely embedded when she fell to the ground and
12:38Well, most of it came from common plants but
12:41Here this part caught my eye
12:44Some were from red pines red pines. Those are pretty rare on the island. Exactly
12:47So they sent some texts back to nancy's apiary. Wait, let me guess no red pines, right?
12:52Which suggests nancy's body was moved?
12:54So if she wasn't killed in her own apiary
12:58Then where did she die?
12:59Guys, hey something just arrived that you're gonna want to see
13:03The queen is dead long live the queen
13:06What the hell is going on
13:16Forensics just finished with the letter. No fingerprints only smudges
13:19No dna either and the same paper and printer were used to create the notes, but both are very common
13:24So no leads there. What about the pollen on nancy's bee suit from the red pines?
13:28Turns out red pines can only be found in 22 areas across the island mostly in the interior
13:33And i've been coordinating with the ministry of agriculture about apiaries located near red pine stands to narrow down where nancy was killed
13:40But we're looking at dozens maybe even hundreds. Yeah, it seems like a long shot. We'll keep trying
13:45What about suspects?
13:46Well, leo bogner doesn't have so much as a couple traffic tickets if he and nancy had a falling out sjpv never became involved
13:52there's also
13:54Hazel lee she's been keeping her nose clean ever since her arrest
13:57And garrett bruce
13:59Seemed to really love nancy, but I don't know I did get a bit of a weird vibe off him
14:03I think your instincts are right on that
14:06Sjpd investigated a couple of complaints from two ex-partners of garrett bruce claiming that he harassed them. Let's keep looking into this guy. Yeah
14:22There's something I want to bounce off of you guys rex
14:27I
14:30Got a crazy idea about the killer's nose. You like crazy. Yeah, but it's usually coming from us and not from you
14:35Okay. Well, look here's my idea
14:37what if we think of
14:39the bee association
14:41as a hive
14:43Hi, that's that's crazy. No, hear me out. They're both a collective of like-minded individuals working towards a common good
14:50Okay
14:51Say we accept that then what you see a queen rarely dies of natural causes in a hive
14:57What happens is the worker bees recognize that she's in her final days
15:02So they begin to prepare a new queen and when she's ready to take over the old queen is killed
15:09Are you saying that someone killed nancy to take over the beekeepers association?
15:15If we're talking about succession hazel lee takes over temporarily, but there will soon be a full election any member can run
15:21So what we need is a list of names to find out who has apiaries near red pines. Okay
15:27Where's all this bee knowledge from?
15:30Well, I've been giving some thought to retirement and what I might do afterwards and I love honey rex says too
15:39I can't even sweeten my coffee without him wanting a bit. Yeah, and it's also something that's really good for the environment
15:45There is another perk
15:47You're this investigation's personal hive mind
15:50Rex let's go
15:58So far there are six candidates running we'll need to see a list of them, of course
16:03Are you thinking the election has something to do with nancy's death? Well, it's just an avenue we're exploring
16:09Here you go
16:11And yes, my name is on the slate
16:14I guess that makes me even more of a suspect in your eyes
16:17So you decided to run after all why
16:20I want the association to remain committed to supporting businesses like mine. We've outgrown the granola and sandals crowd outgrown. How?
16:29Don't get me wrong preservation is important, but it's not the whole picture
16:33If we don't grow and evolve then everything falls apart preservation initiatives included
16:38Any of these other candidates have hives in central newfoundland most I would think the plant life is different out there gives the honey a unique
16:44Taste really so do you have hives out there?
16:48Yes
16:49Between clarenville and gander had nancy been there recently. No
16:53She and I managed to remain civil to one another but that's about as far as it went
17:01What's gotten into him rex picks up on scents he's encountered at crime scenes what's in these packages
17:08Mostly soaps and incense
17:10Yes
17:12Do you mind opening that for us, please sure
17:22There we go, these are a collection of essential oils any banana oil in there
17:33Yes, there is
17:35I
17:37Use 11 banana oil could just be a coincidence, but I think we both feel the same way about coincidences
17:42Look at this candidate list any of those names jump out at you
17:45definitely
17:57Let's go rex
18:02Carly
18:06Hi, hey there
18:10Are you still not sure about the bees, huh?
18:13Nancy had a great setup here get why joe finds this so appealing
18:19Come on rex
18:23So you're tending to nancy's bees someone has to otherwise they'd perish they're domesticated animal just like cattle
18:31Huh, so how can I help you
18:35Do you have
18:37Red pines near your apiary. I think there are some near the one I have out in terra nova had um
18:43Had nancy been there recently?
18:46No
18:47Why do you ask?
18:48We were just trying to track her movements
18:51We also wanted to ask about the upcoming election
18:53You're running for president. I am. Yeah, it's something i've been thinking about doing for some time
18:58I thought you were happy with how nancy was running things. I was largely but
19:04Lately i've had concerns that the association's becoming too commercial
19:08how so
19:11People think it's cool to have a couple hives and to shop in trendy stores like hazel's but
19:16Bee populations are being decimated and something radical needs to be done. And I think that's where the association's energy should be focused
19:24And nancy wasn't supportive
19:26She was to a point
19:29But nancy wanted us all to be one big happy family and i'm not sure that's possible anymore
19:33Was nancy aware you were feeling this way?
19:36No, I was gonna tell her about it when we met on the night that she died
19:40Well, you obviously feel quite passionate about it
19:44No need to sugarcoat it you're wondering if I would have done something to nancy
19:48The answer is no. Why should we believe you?
19:51Because I wanted her support
19:53We would have made a great team
19:56Now i'll just have to do it on my own
19:59Okay
20:01Okay, thanks
20:04So this is interesting it turns out carly wanamaker was part of an environmental action group that was charged with threatening to blow up
20:10A pipeline in bc four years ago
20:12Okay, so she's not above taking extreme action for a cause
20:16No, she's not and she says it's all for the bees, but I have to believe there's self-interest because there's always self-interest
20:24I don't know. Am I just being cynical about being cynical?
20:29No
20:30No, no, I get it
20:32but you know to
20:34Be a cop you need the right amount of cynicism
20:39Yeah, I suppose still wouldn't hurt to focus on the positive once in a while
20:44Yeah, a little light in the world never hurt
20:48That's why it's good to have a rex around
20:53The search warrant for nancy's internet came through my it guys are working on it right now
20:57Did they find something there's someone they think we should talk to and I agree
21:01so garrett
21:02Did you ever send nancy emails? I did but you know that don't you?
21:08Yeah, we've accessed them
21:10Some of your exchanges are quite angry
21:13Look, I wish i'd never sent those. Okay, but everything in my life was going wrong at the same time
21:19I mean nancy had just dumped me
21:23My bees were dead
21:25I was just really upset
21:28You sent an email to nancy begging her to come see you
21:31Did she?
21:33Yes
21:37I tried restarting the colony bought new bees, but they didn't take
21:42I wanted nancy to come and help and she agreed to come over what happened
21:48She started going through my hives
21:51I asked her what went wrong what I could do. What can I do to make this better?
21:59But I wasn't really talking about the bees. I
22:04I was talking about us
22:08And then she walked off without saying a word
22:12When was this
22:15The day before she died
22:18Did nancy tell you where she was going
22:20No
22:23That was the last I saw of her
22:37What do you think do you believe him I think he really was in love with her
22:40Well, I mean a lot of men claim to love their partners and then we all know what happens
22:45I know i'm being cynical again. I know
22:47My question is what did nancy see in that hive and what did it have to do with her death?
22:52We need to get a warrant and look in garrett's hives. Yeah, I just heard from the police in mexico
22:58What did they have to say? Well, they confirmed that charlie took a bus south to a town called chetumel
23:03It's on the border with belize. Wait jack had uh, bought two tickets to belize, right?
23:08Apparently jack is traveling with a woman a woman
23:12Did they say who she was no
23:14Where's charlie going next it seems he crossed the border and went to a town called orange walk city that's in central belize
23:22yeah
23:23so
23:24What now?
23:26Well, i'm gonna have to try to get in touch with the belizean police and see if they can pick up charlie's trail
23:30Okay
23:32I mean, this is good news. It sounds like charlie's close to finding jack
23:36The only thing that puzzles me is who's this woman jack is with
23:39Is
23:43Searching this is leo bogner I need to speak with you meet me at the brewery in two hours
23:54Mr. Bogner
23:57It's sarah true leo
24:09Uh
24:22Mr. Bogner
24:27There was two of them, okay, i'm gonna get help they jumped me
24:33I've got a single male injured. I need an ambulance at nine four six lakehurst road
24:39Oh
24:42Go
25:05Nice try buddy
25:09So
25:20Leo bogner was just discharged from hospital. Wait, tell me what happened
25:23He stumbled into a robbery at his brewery and they stole honey 600 gallons stored in drums. That's a lot of money
25:29Did security cams give us anything? No, apparently they've been down for the last few days
25:33So was the robbery related to nancy's murder?
25:36Well, there's no concrete link but we have to consider the possibility, okay speaking of nancy
25:41I managed to get a hold of her cell information and tracked her pings the night before her murder
25:47She made several stops in and around downtown
25:50And then returned home
25:51Now, I don't know exactly where she went, but they were all within the vicinity of garrett's apiary
25:59That's consistent with his story did we get a warrant to check his hives yet? No, we're still waiting
26:03So, where did nancy go the day of her death?
26:05She drove west towards the interior eventually went off the highway and that's where all cell service cut out
26:12And that supports the theory that she was killed somewhere out there
26:14And then they transferred her body in her car back to her apiary
26:18So carly wanamaker and hazel lee both have apiaries out that way
26:22That makes two of our suspects who own hives where nancy was likely killed
26:26Is there anybody else? Yeah, leo bogner
26:33You
26:35Other than the throbbing headache i'm fine. Well that and i'm not a small fortune in honey
26:40But i'm alive. Thanks to you two
26:43Is there anything more you can tell me about the robbery?
26:46I gave all the details in my statement. I came inside heard something
26:50Went to go take a look. Saw two guys stealing barrels of honey tried to stop them
26:56I guess i'm lucky it didn't turn out worse
26:59Now you had called me to discuss something I did
27:03I should have shown it to you a lot earlier
27:10This footage
27:12Is from a camera trap in one of my apiaries
27:14Just west of st. John's
27:16Why do you have a camera trap set up? They were being raided raided
27:20beanapples
27:22They steal whole hives to use in their own operations
27:25I tried to talk to local cops about it, but they didn't have enough manpower to do anything about it
27:31so I decided
27:33To set a camera up
27:35One of the raiders messed up
27:37Watch this
27:47Oh, wait, wait that that's garrett bruce
27:58Garrett
28:04Oh
28:26Sarah what happened?
28:28I found him lying on the ground dead. He'd been struck on the side of the head
28:32Is that the murder weapon? Yeah, one of the rocks he paints folk art on
28:38Be nice
28:39perfect
28:40anything else disturbed
28:42Well, rex has been alluding to this hive here. I think it might be the one that nancy examined
28:46I've been waiting for you to get here so
28:48We can take a look. Let's see what we got
28:58So
29:05Let me pull one of these frames and see what we got inside
29:16We need to call the ministry of agriculture
29:21Now
29:24So the ministry of agriculture confirmed this lovely creature here is a varroa mite apparently garrett's hives were just rife with them
29:32What that means varroa mites are tiny predators that prey on bees
29:36They are so deadly that they are wiping out bee populations right across north america
29:41Oh, so that must be what caused garrett's colony to die off
29:43The thing is because newfoundland is an island
29:45It's one of the only places that varroa mites don't exist
29:48And there are very strict regulations in place to keep it that way. How'd they end up in garrett's hive?
29:52Well, that's a good question and nancy must have spotted them when she was over there
29:56You know, the ministry also found another interesting thing in garrett's hive. One of the bee corpses was marked
30:03A dead queen with two red dots
30:05Painted on her thorax. Why would someone do that?
30:08I mean some beekeepers paint their queens
30:11So that they can spot them separately from the worker bees, but i've never seen a two dot system before
30:16Maybe it was some sort of message maybe but I know one thing for sure
30:21We've reached the limits of this hive mite it's time to talk to someone who knows what these dots mean
30:34Hello detectives
30:37Curly and I were just talking about the future of the association first nancy now garrett. Yeah, it's a nightmare
30:43In fact, that's why we're here. This is superintendent joe donovan joe
30:47This is hazel lee and carly want to make her is this about garrett in part, but let's start with your whereabouts last night
30:54Worked late and then went straight home
30:56I spent the night at a friend's house. I can give you his number if you want
31:00You said this was partly about garrett, you know, we've inspected his hives and discovered that they're infested with farroa mites. What?
31:07That's got to be a mistake. Unfortunately, not we contacted the ministry and they're incinerating his hives
31:12They've also sent out an alert to all beekeepers. Hopefully we can eliminate them all
31:17What we really wanted to ask about was a queen. We found a garrett's hive
31:22It was painted with two red dots a lot of people around here pick a color
31:26So they could tell what queen belongs to them, right? But why two dots?
31:30Well, sometimes very rarely there could be two active queens in a hive
31:35To tell them apart you paint a single dot on one and a second on the other
31:39Any idea who paints their queen's red red was nancy's color
31:48So
31:50Red color suggests the queen was nancy's
31:53Yeah, well i'm sure she would have given one to garrett to help him restart his colony
31:56But it would mean that she had varroa mites in her colony. That just doesn't seem like something that nancy would allow
32:02Well, there's only one way to find out i'll meet you at her apiary
32:17So
32:32Ah bugger
32:48So
33:09Joe
33:18Hey joe
33:29Oh my god, joe
33:32What's going on
33:35Rex emergency kit in the car go
33:39Hang on hang on joe i'm calling for help. I have an officer down. I need medical assistance right away
33:48So
33:58Come on good boy
34:05I got you
34:12Come on joe stick with us
34:18Hey
34:20Sorry
34:21I got here as soon as I heard what happened. Joe got stung he went into anaphylactic shock
34:26I really thought I was done for a minute there
34:31Did did you not know that you were allergic to bees I've never been stung before
34:37Oh fortunately rex was there
34:41Yeah, buddy
34:44Okay
34:45Okay, yeah, well that's enough of the love-in, huh?
34:49Where are we at with the case?
34:51Okay, so I spoke to the ministry of agriculture. They sent a technician out who determined there were no varroa mites at nancy's apiary
34:59Okay, so where did garrett get those varroa mites from?
35:02I think I know
35:12Okay rex
35:15The suit will keep you safe from those mites and bees. All right, and you look good, too. Okay, go search
35:45So
36:04Nice work, buddy. Okay rex come
36:16All right, let's get this off you okay, I know you like your bee suit, hey
36:27I know you want to spend more time with your new bee friends, but
36:37We've got some other work to do
36:42Let's go
36:44Hello, mr. Bogner
36:47I know you're very busy. So thanks for coming all the way out here
36:50detective
36:51You wanted to speak with me, but I don't remember giving you permission to go through my hives
36:55I've warned search your apiary in my pocket. I'm happy to let you read it
37:00I'll take your word for it
37:03What's he looking for we are looking for a number of things first are queens marked with red dots
37:09Red is the marking system you would have used when you and nancy were a couple
37:13And earlier rex was also looking for varroa mites
37:17Well, he won't find any
37:19They don't exist in newfoundland
37:21Actually, i'm pretty sure they're in these very hives
37:26Rex can smell the difference between bees and mites and he signaled the mites are already here
37:32But uh, you already know that you see this is what I think happened
37:38I
37:40Here's calling he had collapsed. He asked nancy for help when she examined his hive. She spotted two things varroa mites and a queen with two dots
37:48Garrett had your queen
37:51Your camera trap recorded him stealing it
37:54Nancy put it all together
37:56She realized instantly that he'd gotten his queen from you
37:59Now garrett knew how to steal a queen. But what garrett didn't realize was the queen he had taken was infected
38:05So
38:07Nancy confronted you about that. Didn't she of course you denied everything
38:11You knew she wouldn't give up
38:13She'd come looking for proof
38:15She didn't give up
38:17She came out here to your apiary searching for answers
38:21But she didn't know that you had doused her suit in banana oil
38:31She was swarmed
38:34You're desperate detective
38:38Nancy was never here
38:41We know that she was killed near red pine stands pollen stains on her suit confirmed that so what
38:47There are lots of apiaries with red pine stands
38:59I believe this is nancy's missing cell phone
39:03So
39:05How do you suppose it ended up here
39:14Let's go
39:17Oh
39:31You're lucky you were nowhere near as susceptible to bees as nancy was
39:37But you knew that she had an underlying condition didn't you yes
39:44Tell me what happened
39:47The winter was hard for my bees
39:53I lost over 80 of them. There was no way that I could supply enough bees for cranberry pollination much less
40:00make honey for mead
40:02so I
40:04I shipped some new bees in
40:07But when they arrived they were contaminated I couldn't risk having the ministry destroy them I would have been ruined
40:13Wait, so you just decided to put the island's entire bee population at risk?
40:16Yeah
40:19How did the banana oil end up on nancy's suit like I said
40:24I knew she wasn't gonna give up
40:27So I went to her house that night
40:30She always keeps a suit in her trunk when she visits apiaries and I put the banana oil on it
40:41In the notes
40:44I thought it would lead you to the beekeepers association for suspects. Oh
40:48But the problem was garrett because he realized the mites in his hive came from your queen
40:52He's not quite the idiot that I thought he was
40:56He came to me for money to keep quiet, but I wasn't having that so I went to his apiary and things they
41:06Got out of control
41:08And so you staged the robbery to provide more cover
41:12Yeah, I had a couple of guys help fake the whole thing, you know, what's funny
41:17If I hadn't written that note
41:20You probably would have written it off as an accident
41:29Any news on the beekeepers association election, yes
41:33Carly and I have agreed to run together as co-presidents. Oh, they'll be concentrating on preservation and i'll focus on modernization
41:40Well, it looks like you two will make a great team and then what happens to nancy's viz
41:45We actually found someone to take care of the apiary. Oh
42:02You're kidding joe. Yep
42:06Joe you're fat
42:08And i'm feeling pretty good thanks to you and rex
42:11Wait a second. So how are you going to take over an apiary if you're allergic to bees? Well, i'm gonna wear a bee suit
42:18And i'm gonna make sure I carry an epipen with me at all times and he'll have a partner in crime
42:23You yeah, I find bees fascinating
42:26You know, we're gonna call it mills of in farms, can't you? Right?
42:30I I uh, I thought we were gonna call it donald mills. I don't think so. I think so
42:34No
42:36We'll talk
42:42Looks like you're not the only one who's caught bee fever
42:53You
