The SUPER MAV (or, Safety-Assured High-Speed Aerial Robot Micro Air Vehicle) can deftly maneuver through intricate, uncharted landscapes while dodging obstacles as it flies.
"The AI technology can take in the measurements, understands the environments, and then it can generate a target position all by itself. In this way, the whole system will be fully autonomous without any human intervention," explained Professor Zhang Fu from The University of Hong Kong.
