00:17We will talk about this with Bureau Chief Washington Jahanzaib Ali.
00:20Jahanzaib, tell us about the resolutions.
00:24Khalid, a very busy day has passed in the UN today.
00:29In the morning, the European countries and Ukraine presented their resolutions against Russia.
00:37For the first time, the U.S. opposed the resolution and supported Russia.
00:43In return, the U.S. presented its own resolution to the UN General Assembly,
00:48which received many objections.
00:50The U.S. voted in favor of the resolution.
00:52Now, the U.S. has presented a new resolution in favor of the UN Security Council.
00:58The resolution is entitled, The Path to Peace.
01:00Ten votes were cast in favor of the resolution.
01:05Five countries are absent.
01:07However, the UN Security Council has adopted the resolution.
01:11China, U.S., Panama, Pakistan, Algeria, Korea and Russia have voted in favor of the resolution.
01:21France, Britain, Denmark, Greece and another country are absent.
01:25The U.S. resolution, The Path to Peace, has a detailed strategy to end the war in Ukraine.
01:35Pakistan's Acting Chief of Staff, Asim Iftikhar, has also spoken in favor of the resolution.
01:47He said that the resolution is in line with the clear and consistent stance of Pakistan on the Ukraine dispute.
01:52The Pakistani government said that the resolution is in line with the demand to end hostility immediately and to resolve the dispute through negotiations.
02:00The Pakistani government also said that Pakistan is deeply concerned about the dispute,
02:05and as a result of this war, it has caused great damage to the people, infrastructure, economy and society.
02:14Peace is a common goal, which can only be achieved by working together.
02:18But here you see that Donald Trump has made a huge policy change in the U.S. for not only Ukraine, but Europe and the rest of the world.
02:30And Donald Trump is openly supporting Russia and opposing Ukraine.
02:39Today, Donald Trump met with the President of France in the White House.
02:46Donald Trump has made it very clear that he wants to end the war in Ukraine.
02:52Donald Trump is no longer working with diplomacy.
02:57He is now working with the power of the U.S. government and the power of the President of the United States.
03:08Now Donald Trump is going to establish peace on the basis of power.
03:10And this is what he said when he met with the President of France.
03:13And today, what happened in the Security Council of the United Nations,
03:17Donald Trump's position was very clear that there is no diplomacy, nothing.
03:21This war has to be stopped.
03:22And the war will be stopped according to the wisdom of the U.S., not according to the European Union or Ukraine.
03:30And as you know, Khalid, last week there were peace talks in Saudi Arabia regarding the war in Ukraine,
03:38where the highest officials of the Trump administration, including Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, participated in the peace talks.
03:46This raised a lot of controversy.
03:48Europe said that neither did it have any European representatives, nor did it have any Ukrainian representatives.
03:53So how can there be peace talks when Ukraine is not included?
03:55Donald Trump has completely rejected this.
04:00And today, when he gave his press conference in the White House with the President of France,
04:04he thanked Mohammed bin Salman, the MBS, for arranging these talks.
04:15And today he said that we have reached very close to an agreement.
04:18And this agreement is the same agreement that Donald Trump's administration has prepared.
04:24This agreement is neither Ukraine,
04:26although the President of Ukraine is not in agreement with this.
04:29The agreement that has been approved in the Security Council has been opposed by Ukraine and Europe.
04:36But the UN Security Council has adopted it.
04:39And Donald Trump is going to resolve this matter according to his own conditions and will.
04:48And today he said that we have reached very close to stopping this war.
04:53Thank you very much, Jahanzaib.
