00:00I'm Debbie and this is Dulcy and Dulcy has been fighting uroblastoma stage 4 since December 2021.
00:08It's been a long, long journey which has saw us traveling up to Leeds, London, Southampton,
00:13it's taken us pretty much all up and down the country. About two weeks ago we finally got the
00:19information that Dulcy is NED which means no evidence of disease and she is going to ring the
00:25bell, end of treatment bell, next week aren't you? Are you going to make it so loud that the
00:30whole hospital can hear? Yeah? No. No! Dulcy! Loud enough for the people on that level of the floor
00:39to hear. Are you going to make it loud enough so everyone can hear it on the floor? Yes.
00:43What have all your friends said Dulcy? Have you told your friends at school? No. Surprise. It's
00:49a surprise because I'm going to film it aren't I? Yeah. Yeah. Wow, lovely. So you've had a very,
00:56very busy couple of years haven't you? You've also been on a documentary as well.
01:01What was that like? Good. You made some lovely friends. Who was your best friend from the film?
01:08Eve. Eve. She's an older girl but yeah, it just talks a lot about childhood cancer the film did
01:14Kids Like Us and it just brings more awareness to what they obviously deem as rare. Childhood
01:22cancer apparently is rare. Yeah. But this highlights the fact that it's not and Dulcy you were involved
01:28in that wasn't you? You shared your story didn't you? It's an important story to share. Absolutely.
01:34Just as it is still to keep sharing isn't it? Keep sharing, keep raising awareness but
01:39we finally did it. High five? High five? No, come on high five. But she's finally done it and she
01:44gets to ring her bell next week and we just can't wait. It's been a long, long time coming.
