00:00Let's get into our award tour portion where the champs of odds on the 2nd of February
00:07had the Celtics at a plus 210, Oklahoma City a plus 230, 8.5 the 1 for Cleveland, 13.1
00:14for the Knicks, 14.1 for Denver, 21.1 for the Lakers, 25.1 for Memphis, 26.1 for Milwaukee.
00:21Let's look at the change.
00:24Now you have Boston at plus 175, Oklahoma City 2.1, Cleveland 9.1, 13.1 for Denver,
00:3114.1 for the Knicks, there's the movement for the Lakers at 18.1, Memphis 33.1 along
00:37with Milwaukee. Houston 65.1, ultimate sleeper.
00:42And it will tie into what we say with Boston. Right now folks, Boston is the defending champion.
00:50Boston has done it. You're worried about Oklahoma City and their youth. You look at Cleveland,
00:55I don't think they're coming out of the East, I don't think, and they're lucky they're going
01:00to get the 1 seed because I think if they play 2-3 against the Knicks, I think the Knicks
01:03can beat them in a 7 game series. And I'm worried about some of the other teams.
01:08So right now it's Boston at plus 175 because they have the pedigree, they have the coaching,
01:14and they have the firepower to win it.
01:18Speaking of which, let's look at three teams over under win totals.
01:24First with Boston at 59.5. They have 39 wins. They have to go 21-6 the rest of the way.
01:32Why is that a hit? And they will do so because they have the third easiest schedule in the East.
01:41And I think Joe Mizzoula is going to look for these last 27 games as a way to get these guys dialed in.
01:49I wonder if they shoot the ball a little bit less from 3 and start to kind of turn themselves up
01:57as they try to defend their NBA championship.
02:02Next team, Houston. Win total 49.5. They have 34 wins. They have to go 16-11 the rest of the way.
02:12They haven't been playing well. I think they're 3-7 their last 10 games.
02:19But they have the 10th easiest schedule the rest of the way.
02:24I think Emil Doka, kind of like the way they played towards the end of the year last year
02:29before Shingun got hurt at the very end, I think that they're going to find a way to turn it on
02:35and kind of fix themselves and kind of want to keep themselves in that top 4 seed.
02:43Right now they're 4th. Lakers are in 5th. Because I honestly believe in my heart,
02:48in my heart, they need to be a 4th seed because I think they need to have home court advantage
02:54for a chance to get out of the first round.
02:58Lastly, Minnesota. Minnesota is sitting right now with 31 wins.
03:03They have to go 15-11 the rest of the way. You're like, no problem. Folks, there's a problem.
03:09Think about this. First 5 games out of the All-Star break, at Houston, Oklahoma City,
03:15at Oklahoma City, back-to-back, and then they have to go on the road for 2 games.
03:21I think it's Lakers and Utah back-to-back. 5 games in 9 days.
03:25Plus there's another stretch where you have to go back-to-back. 16th, 17th, Utah may not be,
03:31may be easy, but then they've got to play Indiana on the second leg of a back-to-back.
03:36At home, Indiana will try and run them. Too inconsistent. I love, obviously,
03:42and obviously you pull that guy up, Nas Reid, the pride of Asbury Park, right in my neighborhood.
03:48As much as I love Minnesota, something's been amiss all year. They will go under 45.5 wins.
