Après deux journées très animées, retour au calme relatif sur la 3e étape du Tour de l'Andalousie, avec une journée réservée aux sprinteurs entre Arjona et Pozoblanco (162,1 km). Et c'est le seul sprinteur présent sur cette course qui s'est imposé, en la présence d'Alexander Kristoff. Malgré tout, le sprint a été très serré, mais le Norvégien de la Uno-X Mobility a réussi à lever les bras devant Ben Turner (INEOS Grenadiers) et Maxim Van Gils (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe). Sa 97e victoire en carrière !
