Hero cop rushes into burning house to save woman from arson attack

Dramatic body-worn camera footage captured the moment a hero cop dashed into a burning house to save a woman after an arson attack.

Police were called to the blaze at the property in Lingmell Close, West Bridgford, Nottingham, just after 3am on July 19 last year.

Arsonist Clive Hawker, 54, had torched the semi-detached house while a woman slept upstairs.

Footage shows PC James Cantrill rush into the back of the smoke-filled property as flames engulfed the upstairs.
