00:00Cesar Chavez, the acting secretary of the Presidential Communications Office of the PCO,
00:07is now in office. He is expected to be effective by the end of February.
00:11In his statement, he stated that he was not completely satisfied with the things expected of him.
00:19However, he will continue to support the current administration
00:25while continuing his public service.
00:28He also thanked the President for the opportunity to serve as a member of the Executive Board
00:33because of the trust given by President Ejecutivo.
00:36However, Malacanang is not yet confirming that Chavez has spoken to the veteran journalist, J. Ruiz,
00:44and stated that he will be introduced to the PCO Management Committee on Monday
00:49as the start of the transition to be appointed as a secretary of the PCO.
00:54Chavez will be remembered as the acting secretary of the PCO last September.
01:01He also served as the Undersecretary for Railways of the Transportation Department
01:06under the Marcos Jr. Administration.
