00:00One thing I don't think it is, is the fact that the EFL or the FA have got a vendetta against Sheffield Wednesday and don't want to give them penalties.
00:08That's something we're seeing more of, isn't it? Not just in the Championship, not just at Wednesday, in football in general.
00:14There seems to be this growing idea that the authorities have got teams that they would prefer not to win things.
00:23Yeah. Yeah, there is. And it's the rise of conspiracy. Again, I think it's sport mirroring society, isn't it?
00:31The rise of conspiracy theory and this idea that incompetence must be controlled and part of a greater plan.
00:45I think without getting too deep or becoming some dodgy amateur psychologist,
00:51I think it's quite comforting on some levels to think that things that are going wrong or things that are going against you personally,
00:59or something you believe in, must be a measured and thought out conspiracy of some sort,
01:10rather than the fact that the game is just too fast for these referees and decisions will go against them.
01:17I think it's that old cliche, but they balance themselves out.
01:22Wednesday will have got situations in the season go their way across the course of the season that don't necessarily come to mind,
01:34because, of course, why would they?
