00:00Perhaps when considering revenue-raising, the Minister could perhaps look at wasteful
00:05spend in his own Department, where it has been revealed that it is still funding the
00:10radical discredited Stonewall charity through the Department of Finance. It is a charity
00:17that has been associated with radical gender policies on underage children. It is a charity
00:22that has also got its funding removed from all Whitehall Departments. Will he be the
00:28man to step up to remove this funding and adopt a policy of spending less and taxing
00:35less?
00:36I am not sure. I think it is around £2,500 currently. We have supplied the correct figure.
00:46It is in around that somewhere in the region, which is given to Stonewall each year for
00:50services to the Department and advice to the Department as well. As with all advice, the
00:56Department does not have to take that advice on board, but we are a fair employer Department.
01:00We are an inclusive Department. We want a workforce that has all its rights and entitlements
01:07in place. We will take that advice from a number of sources as well. As I say, we do
01:13not always have to take that advice on board, but I do think it is important that we are
01:17reaching out to a wide range of organisations for that advice.
