00:00Asalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, alhamdulillahi wabarakatuhu, wasalaamu ala
00:16ibadihi allatheena ustafa amma ba'ad, fa'udhu billahi minash shaitanir rajeem, bismillahir
00:21rahmanir raheem, allahumma salli ala sayyidina wa nabiyyina muhammad wa ala ahli sayyidina
00:26wa habibina muhammad wa barik wa sallim wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
00:31We spoke last time about the importance of faith, that faith is an absolute necessity
00:39for the success of the hereafter.
00:43We said that if there is no faith, then a person's deeds will not be weighed.
00:52Quran says, Allah says that we will not weigh the deeds of a person who has no faith.
01:04I said that this is like the definition of weight in the world, mass into gravity.
01:12If gravity is zero, then whatever the mass is, the weight will be zero.
01:16In the same way, this gravitational force is faith in the hereafter.
01:22If someone's faith is zero, God forbid, then whatever the deeds are, there will be no weight
01:28of his deeds, and on the Day of Judgment, the deeds will be weighed.
01:32Allah has established a scale on the Day of Judgment.
01:36The deeds will be weighed on the scale, and if there is no faith, then there will be no weight.
01:44Allah has said that all people are in loss.
01:54In Surah Al-Asr, Allah swears by time, that all people are in loss.
02:10There is a blanket statement that all people are in loss, except for a few exceptions.
02:18Who are those people who are exempted, who are not in loss, who are successful in reality?
02:24except for those who have faith, who do righteous deeds, and who are steadfast in patience.
02:44These four criteria will save a person from loss.
02:50This person will be successful.
02:52First of all, we should remember that Allah has established a scale of success.
02:58Faith, righteous deeds, advising each other on the right path, and advising each other on steadfastness and patience.
03:06Allah has made this a scale of success.
03:08Wealth, car, status, position, colour, generation.
03:15Allah has not defined this as a scale of success.
03:19Of course, these are the needs of the world.
03:21We need wealth.
03:23We need necessities.
03:25Be it a car, a house, a roof, etc.
03:29These are the needs of the world.
03:31But if someone has less wealth, and someone has more wealth, then this is not a scale of success.
03:39We have talked about faith, that it is necessary to have it.
03:44The second thing I want to talk about today is righteous deeds.
03:47Allah wants good deeds to be more or less.
03:59This is not a matter of preference.
04:02If it is more, then it is a good thing.
04:04But the key factor is to be good.
04:10There should be beauty in them, even if it is not the majority.
04:17But if both are combined, then it is light upon light.
04:22This is the best thing.
04:24Allah says that everyone will have ranks in paradise according to their deeds.
04:30There will be more good deeds and more ranks.
04:34But the criteria to enter paradise is based on faith and righteous deeds.
04:43Faith and righteous deeds.
04:46I repeat, faith and righteous deeds.
04:50Now, what is the definition of righteous deeds?
04:53The definition of righteous deeds is that what Allah has called good is good, and what Allah has called bad is bad.
05:01As simple as that.
05:03If we want to succeed on the basis of this criteria, then the definition will work.
05:13It is not my definition or your definition.
05:16If I have a company, I run an organization, and I want a job description, a job profile, I want an employee,
05:25and I want him to have this certification, this degree, this, this, this.
05:31So, it is in my mind what I want.
05:34If a person says, I have a similar degree, this is not it, but he says, I think this will also work.
05:42I say, look, I am hiring in the company, I want an employee, I know the requirements,
05:50you are saying that you know which degree will work.
05:54Does not make sense.
05:56This is not something that can be understood.
05:58So, Allah has made a standard.
06:00When Allah has set the criteria of faith and righteous deeds,
06:03then the definition of righteous deeds will also be told by Allah.
06:07That this is a good deed, this is a bad deed.
06:10That is why I said last time, I repeat again, that it is important to gain knowledge.
06:16What is right, what is wrong.
06:19It cannot be my definition.
06:21I cannot say, yes, this is right.
06:24Because I think this is right.
06:27Then, if a billion people live in the world, then a billion definitions will be made.
06:34And in any way, as I said, the one who has set the criteria,
06:39he will tell that this is a good deed, this is a bad deed.
06:43So, in those good deeds, the first thing is that Allah has made it obligatory.
06:50According to Allah, the thing that is the best,
06:55and the most necessary for success,
07:00according to Allah, Allah has said that this is obligatory.
07:04This is mandatory.
07:06This is compulsory.
07:08There is no choice to that.
07:10This is necessary.
07:13How can we understand the importance of this through all the words.
07:20According to Allah, this is the most important.
07:24In good deeds, to offer five daily prayers.
07:28On time.
07:33Allah has said that prayer is obligatory on the believers on their own time.
07:38Ramadan will come, keep fast.
07:41Of course, there are details.
07:43Some are disabled, some are sick.
07:45We are not going into details about them.
07:49The one who has a special limit,
07:58he has more wealth,
08:01then his zakat, 2.5% zakat,
08:05and there are many details in it.
08:08The one who has wealth and health,
08:12to perform Hajj once in his life.
08:15This is obligatory.
08:17In the same way, to speak the truth is obligatory.
08:21There is no choice whether I speak the truth or not.
08:25Humility is obligatory.
08:29There is no scope for arrogance in our religion.
08:33Prophet Mohammad said,
08:41That person will not go to heaven.
08:43The one who has an atom's weight of arrogance in his heart.
08:49What is arrogance?
08:51To think that I am better than someone.
08:54That I have more wealth,
08:58my car is like this,
08:59my house is like this,
09:00my knowledge is more, etc.
09:05But it is possible that I have more wealth,
09:09my car is better,
09:10my house is better,
09:11my knowledge is more.
09:13Then what should I do?
09:16Should I keep denying myself that I don't have a good car?
09:19This will be ungrateful.
09:21So, in this,
09:22I should not consider myself better than anyone.
09:25I should say, it is the grace of Allah.
09:27Allah gave me a good car.
09:28Allah gave me a good house.
09:29Allah gave me knowledge.
09:31So, in this,
09:32I should be thankful to Allah as opposed to
09:34I should belittle someone.
09:36As opposed to I should consider someone small.
09:39As opposed to I should consider someone bad.
09:41As opposed to I should make fun of someone.
09:44So, humility is obligatory.
09:48Not being jealous is obligatory.
09:51Not being dishonest with someone is obligatory.
09:57Not being honest with someone is obligatory.
10:00So, these are all obligations.
10:02We stick to only five things.
10:05The pillars of religion,
10:06giving shahadah,
10:07prayer, fasting,
10:08hajj, zakat.
10:09These are all there.
10:10But unfortunately,
10:11there are so many people who are missing out on them.
10:15And then,
10:16there are other things that are obligatory.
10:21If you see something wrong,
10:23then somehow,
10:25negate it.
10:27It is obligatory.
10:29Or,
10:30if you can stop it,
10:31then stop it.
10:32If you have so much authority,
10:34if you are my government,
10:37if you are my police,
10:40then I will make you stop it.
10:42Otherwise,
10:43I will at least say bad things about it.
10:45If you can't even do this,
10:46then at least know it in your heart.
10:48Somehow,
10:49push back it.
10:51As opposed to accept it.
10:52It is obligatory.
10:55So,
10:56these are all obligations.
10:57These obligations
10:59are the highest
11:01in good deeds.
11:02But,
11:03it doesn't end here.
11:05After that,
11:06there is sunan,
11:07there are mustahabbat.
11:09If someone falls ill,
11:10I go to help him.
11:12This is a good deed.
11:14And,
11:15how are his etiquettes?
11:16I am sitting,
11:17I have a chair,
11:19I am absolutely fine,
11:20my health is fine.
11:21But,
11:23suddenly,
11:24an old man comes,
11:26suddenly,
11:27a weak man comes,
11:28a woman comes,
11:30I leave my place
11:32and say,
11:33you sit here,
11:34you sit.
11:35This is a good deed.
11:37Someone's zakat is obligatory.
11:39Apart from that,
11:41if Allah has given me money,
11:43if someone needs it,
11:45then I help him.
11:48This is a good deed.
11:50So, good deeds
11:52will be useful.
11:54Obligations are obligatory.
11:56With faith,
11:57good deeds are obligatory
11:59to enter Jannah.
12:01And, the obligations
12:03are obligatory.
12:04But, if you want the height of the ranks,
12:07then,
12:08on the obligations,
12:10do the good deeds.
12:12InshaAllah,
12:13as the good deeds increase,
12:15so will the progress
12:17in Jannah.
12:19On the last two points,
12:21I will briefly mention,
12:22wa tawasahu bil-haq,
12:23wa tawasahu bil-sabr.
12:25These things,
12:27the strength of faith,
12:29the height of faith,
12:30staying firm on faith,
12:33not becoming weak,
12:35doing good deeds,
12:37for this,
12:38it is necessary
12:39that we stay in a good company.
12:41We have to do good deeds.
12:43This is right,
12:44this is wrong.
12:45This is right,
12:46this is false.
12:47Keep telling each other.
12:48And, keep encouraging each other
12:50to stay in a good company.
12:51This is necessary.
12:52A good company.
12:54If we fall into a bad company,
12:56then,
12:57the faith of a person can also go.
12:59And, definitely,
13:00he can leave those good deeds.
13:02In fact,
13:03it can be a disaster
13:04that he starts doing bad deeds.
13:07It is impossible with a bad company.
13:10Al-mar'u ala deeni khalilihi.
13:12The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
13:14said,
13:15that a person is on the religion of his friend.
13:17As is the friend,
13:18so is the religion.
13:19And,
13:20there are many Ahadith.
13:22An example of a good company is like
13:24a perfume seller.
13:27The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
13:29that if you go and sit with him,
13:31either he will give you the fragrance as a gift,
13:34or at least,
13:35the fragrance in that environment,
13:37you will like it,
13:38you will benefit from it.
13:40And,
13:41an example of a bad friend,
13:42an example of a bad company,
13:44is like a
13:46iron.
13:47If you go,
13:48then,
13:49the iron is heating up in the fire,
13:51either there will be a spark,
13:52your clothes will burn,
13:54or at least,
13:55the fire will feel hot.
13:58So, it is a loss.
14:00And, there is a benefit.
14:02So, a good company is very important.
14:04A good company.
14:05Please,
14:06we should also have a good company.
14:08We should also encourage our children to have a good company.
14:11It is very important,
14:12if we follow this basic criteria
14:14of faith and good deeds,
14:18which is necessary for success in the hereafter.
14:21Please,
14:22we all need to understand this.
14:24Because,
14:25it is a matter of the hereafter.
14:27Look, death is coming.
14:29All of us are going to die.
14:31An angel is going to come to take us.
14:33What kind of angel will he be?
14:35Will he be an angel of mercy?
14:37Or,
14:38may Allah forbid,
14:39will he be an angel of torment?
14:40How will it be?
14:41It depends.
14:42How are we living our lives?
14:44What are the levels of our faith?
14:46How much knowledge did we gain?
14:48And, how firmly did we stay on it?
14:50How many deeds did we do?
14:52Did we observe our prayers or not?
14:58Did we give Zakat or not?
15:03It is in the Quran.
15:04Some people will go to hell.
15:05They will be asked,
15:06What did you do in hell?
15:10They will say,
15:11We did not pray.
15:16And, we did not feed the poor.
15:19We did not give Zakat.
15:21So, please,
15:22these are the first obligations.
15:24But,
15:25these obligations are not limited to worship.
15:27I said,
15:28it is a duty to speak the truth.
15:30It is a duty to be honest.
15:31It is a duty not to deceive people.
15:34It is a duty to be humble with people.
15:36It is a duty not to be jealous.
15:38It is a duty to have a good conscience.
15:40Please.
15:41But, apart from this,
15:42we should move forward in good deeds.
15:45May Allah enable us to be successful in this world and in the hereafter.
15:49May Allah enable us all.
15:51We will take a short break.
15:52InshaAllah,
15:53we will be back with your questions.
15:55You can email your questions to
15:57deenfitrat at arydigital.tv
15:59Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
16:02Welcome back.
16:03We are back with your questions.
16:05Online,
16:06a sister,
16:07or a girl,
16:09has sent a question
16:11from Houston, America.
16:13She has said,
16:15I will tell you the summary of the question she has sent.
16:18She has said,
16:19my husband,
16:21he cheated on me for the last two years.
16:23He has been cheating on me for the last two years.
16:27In other words,
16:28he has an affair with another woman.
16:32And,
16:33I kept tolerating it.
16:35And,
16:39he fell ill.
16:40He was in the hospital.
16:42He was seriously ill.
16:44He had to be admitted to the hospital.
16:47I took care of him.
16:49I took care of him.
16:50But as soon as he recovered,
16:52he started doing the same thing again.
16:56What should I do?
16:58After listening to these questions,
17:00it hurts my heart.
17:02And,
17:04I feel like crying.
17:07I,
17:08talk to all the men,
17:11who are proud men.
17:13For a while,
17:14for a moment.
17:16You,
17:17assume,
17:18your wife,
17:19has an affair with another man.
17:23And,
17:24she has an affair with another man.
17:27Will any man be able to tolerate this?
17:33That his wife,
17:34has an affair with another man.
17:37She has physical relations.
17:40She has physical relations.
17:43As a man,
17:45I cannot tolerate this.
17:47And, maybe no man can tolerate this,
17:49who has even a little bit of dignity.
17:52So,
17:53if we reverse this,
17:57will a woman be able to tolerate,
18:01that her husband has illicit relations with another woman?
18:06No wife can tolerate this.
18:10Like this,
18:11our sister, our daughter also asked this question.
18:14And, these questions come countless.
18:18This is their frequency,
18:20that I cannot count,
18:22if I think,
18:24how many women have asked me this question,
18:27how many times in my life.
18:30So, what goes through their mind,
18:32if we think for a while,
18:34that we are so disloyal.
18:37And, especially if we are Muslims.
18:40What kind of Islam is this?
18:42What kind of Sunnah is this,
18:45that we learn loyalty from Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
18:50We learn loyalty from him.
18:57Second, Nikah is another thing.
19:00But, establishing illicit relations is a completely different thing.
19:04There is no room for this in our religion.
19:09And, like I said,
19:10you are playing with the emotions of a woman.
19:14You are committing a sin.
19:16These women are the scapegoats.
19:19That they said,
19:21that my husband,
19:23he has known for two years,
19:25that he has illicit relations with women.
19:28And, he fell ill.
19:29And, these women still took care of him.
19:33They took care of him.
19:35They took care of him.
19:36For this, you need a big heart.
19:39And,
19:41these women deserve to be congratulated.
19:44That they took such a big heart,
19:46and took care of their husband,
19:48who is disloyal.
19:50And, they did it only for Allah.
19:52Can a person do it?
19:54Otherwise, how can a person do it in this world?
19:57A person,
19:58who knows that he is doing such things,
20:02that he is disloyal to me.
20:04Still, if you take care of him,
20:05he needs a big heart.
20:07And, for Allah,
20:08to earn the hereafter,
20:09a person can do it.
20:11But,
20:12these companions,
20:13when they fell so ill,
20:14this was a warning from Allah.
20:18See, any disease,
20:20as little as flu,
20:22this is a warning from Allah.
20:24These were the flu type symptoms of COVID.
20:28When COVID is still there,
20:30but when it was at its peak,
20:32initially,
20:33there were flu-like symptoms.
20:35Then, those flu-like symptoms
20:37increased in the respiratory system.
20:39People's lungs were affected.
20:40Eventually, people died.
20:43But, can flu not be the cause of a person's death?
20:48Not very long ago,
20:49in a time,
20:50the flu,
20:51influenza,
20:52was a serious disease.
20:54People died.
20:56Now, its intensity has reduced.
20:58But, any disease,
21:00even headache,
21:02is a warning for a person,
21:04that,
21:05look,
21:06you are going to die.
21:08This very thing can transform into a deadly disease,
21:11and it can cause death.
21:13This disease can be a dangerous cause for you,
21:17and you can die from it.
21:19These companions,
21:20Allah gave them a warning.
21:24Allah gave them a sign,
21:28that, look, repent.
21:30Come back.
21:32I am surprised,
21:34that this woman is saying,
21:36that as soon as she got out of the disease,
21:38she started doing the same things again,
21:40that she did before.
21:41This means,
21:42she did not learn anything from that warning,
21:44from that sign.
21:46This is the peak of heedlessness.
21:49This is the peak of heedlessness.
21:51Does she not remember death at all?
21:54Does she not remember the grave at all?
21:56Syedna Usman, may Allah be pleased with him,
21:59used to cry so much after seeing the grave.
22:01It is mentioned in the authentic hadith,
22:03that his beard used to become wet with tears.
22:06He used to cry so much.
22:08He used to feel so much,
22:11that what will happen in the hereafter.
22:13He used to say,
22:14that Prophet Muhammad, may Allah be pleased with him,
22:16said,
22:17that from the grave,
22:18this is the first stage,
22:20which is successful here.
22:21The rest is easy.
22:22If it is unsuccessful here,
22:23then the rest is even more difficult.
22:25He used to cry so much,
22:26that what will happen to him here.
22:28These were the companions,
22:29the Zun-Nur-Ain,
22:30the Ashra-Mubashara.
22:32This was their condition.
22:33And do we not have any concern?
22:37My recommendation to this sister and daughter,
22:43is that she should talk to her husband on a serious note.
22:47And I do not talk about the hereafter.
22:51I assume that it is all going to be good.
22:54InshAllah,
22:55I am saying all this to them.
22:57Make them wait for this.
22:59Make them think about this.
23:04And tell them,
23:05that Allah has kept the door of repentance.
23:08And all sins are forgiven by repentance.
23:11But the condition of repentance is this,
23:13to leave it immediately.
23:16Decide not to do it in the hereafter.
23:18Seek forgiveness from Allah.
23:21And prepare the resolve to spend the rest of your life in piety.
23:27And I hope,
23:28and you should also pray,
23:30that all our hearts are in the hands of Allah,
23:32whose heart we can turn as we wish.
23:35It is also mentioned in the prayers,
23:45O' those who turn their hearts,
23:46O' those who turn their hearts,
23:47turn our hearts towards obedience.
23:51Allah is the Lord of the hearts.
23:54Pray for them.
23:55Make them understand.
23:57And let's assume,
23:58we hopefully assume,
24:00we do not talk about extreme cases.
24:03We assume,
24:04InshAllah,
24:05they will repent.
24:06May Allah make them understand.
24:07And may Allah keep your relationship.
24:10But,
24:11if they do not understand,
24:14then it is a serious matter.
24:17And it should be dealt with seriously.
24:20But let's take it step by step.
24:23We do not go further.
24:25But please,
24:26I am talking to all men.
24:28Please understand this.
24:30Think about this.
24:31Think about a person's feelings.
24:35Think about his condition.
24:37But more than that,
24:39remember your hereafter,
24:40your death,
24:41your grave,
24:42all of us.
24:43Remember this.
24:44And remember that
24:46the angel of death will come.
24:48He will come according to our deeds.
24:50The grave of mercy or punishment
24:52can be a very harsh place.
24:54Or a garden from the gardens of heaven.
24:56Or a pot from the pots of hell.
24:58God forbid.
24:59The day of judgement is very harsh.
25:02The names of deeds are being written.
25:04It will be presented.
25:05The deeds will be weighed.
25:07There is the bridge of Sirat.
25:10To cross it is necessary to go to heaven.
25:13These are not easy matters.
25:15The hereafter is very difficult.
25:17This world is for its preparation.
25:20Faith and pious deeds
25:23will take a person to heaven.
25:26If there is no faith,
25:28or if there are bad deeds,
25:30they can make a person
25:31deprived of heaven.
25:33God forbid.
25:34Please,
25:36worry.
25:37The matter is very serious.
25:39It is a very delicate matter.
25:41We all should repent.
25:43From every matter.
25:46Inshallah,
25:47we will talk about
25:49how to strengthen our faith.
25:51How to strengthen our faith
25:53when Allah will enable us
25:54in the next episode.
25:55Inshallah, please,
25:56we all,
25:58in this age of mischief,
26:01the age of social media,
26:03which is misguiding us.
26:05The biggest factor
26:07to reduce our faith
26:09or to put it in our sins
26:11is the internet,
26:13social media,
26:15Facebook, YouTube,
26:17all kinds of useless things,
26:19all kinds of bad things.
26:21When a person sees them,
26:23his heart gets corrupted.
26:25Then he turns to sins.
26:27Then he falls into sins.
26:29Many times,
26:30a person loses his faith.
26:32Please,
26:33think about your safety.
26:35What am I seeing?
26:37In which gathering am I?
26:39Who are my friends?
26:41All these things,
26:43as a human being,
26:45please, help us.
26:47Alhamdulillah,
26:49Rabbil Alameen.
26:51Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.
27:03Al-Fatiha.
