Designs of Hope returns to Dubai: Unleashing creativity in its 8th edition

The 8th edition of Designs of Hope — a charity exhibition organised by Al Manal Humanitarian Initiative gets underway at Dubai Ladies Club.  There are 18 Emirati fashion and jewellery designers who came together at the exhibition to showcase their products. The proceeds of the sale went to Dubai Cares in support of climate education for girls. 00:00We're very grateful for our partnership with Al-Manal Humanitarian Initiative.

00:20Al-Manal Humanitarian Initiative has extended its support to Dubai CARES over the past years,

00:27which has helped us advance on our mission of providing children and youth in developing

00:32countries with access to quality education.

00:35This year in particular, in line with the year of sustainability, we have partnered

00:40again with Al-Manal Humanitarian Initiative that have basically hosted this incredible

00:46exhibition called the Design of Hope, and where proceeds that are raised from this exhibition

00:51will be donated towards supporting or addressing climate education to ensure that climate issues

00:59do not affect girls' education, and helps them basically in providing equal opportunities

01:05for girls as well as boys to education, to ensure that climate education is also integrated

01:11into the global climate agenda, and to also raise awareness around this area and highlight

01:15it further.

01:16We are also focusing on looking into how we can develop the girls' skills in order to

01:23address future climate challenges and develop solutions accordingly.
