00:00I've always taken golf seriously. I do it with a lot of love and as a profession.

00:06Whenever I play, I play as a challenge. I challenge myself.

00:11Every day I play, I want to do better.

00:14When I get there, I'm there with my determination to do my best.

00:22Hello, I'm Victor Marçal. This is my story.

00:26A story of many possibilities.

00:29We did everything we could to learn how to play.

00:33And it's in this persistence that I'm a good player today.

00:37These possibilities will only appear if there is someone to help.

00:42In 1993, I would like to learn how to play golf.

00:46And I didn't have the material.

00:48We made up the court like a ball.

00:50And we took an iron like this.

00:52We took it, folded it, and made it into a ball.

00:56That's how we always tried to play.

00:59I came to play here in Morro do Viado.

01:01I never had a teacher.

01:03I only had a lady who gave me the first lessons.

01:06And she gave us an iron 5.

01:09She made us train every day of the week.

01:12From then on, my involvement in golf began.

01:17This is my house. I live here.

01:20I have my trophies here.

01:22All my cups that I've already won.

01:25There are many possibilities.

01:27These possibilities will only appear if there is someone to help.

01:56He is the kind of guy that will benefit from the DP World Tour spreading its wings

02:02and giving many more people a chance to play golf who otherwise couldn't.

02:05For us, he's a classic case study of what we're trying to do.

02:08And it's a wonderful story at the same time.
