00:00The Dubai Future Forum is a forum focused on bringing futurists from around the world

00:05to convene and deliberate on what are the challenges and opportunities that face governments globally,

00:11as well as what are the things that we need to be paying attention to.

00:14What we want to do is embed this future thinking within our government and private sector

00:20to ensure that the outcome is better planning, better deliberation and better outcomes in the future.

00:26Expectations is a more robust, more resilient, more agile government system.

00:31We also want to ensure that we all embed this futuristic thinking within our work and within our operations daily.

00:38Some of the big names that we have are Michio Kaku, a global thinker and astrophysicist as well.

00:44We also have people like Amy Webb who leads a think tank focused on the future,

00:50as well as people from different government entities and semi-government entities

00:53and private sector think tanks that focus on future thinking and future projects.
