00:00beauty patterns have really evolved over the years right we have come a far away from a point

00:06in time when probably it was only the physical aspect that was very much highlighted

00:12how important is a beauty contest because there's there's a large section of people who think it's

00:18incredibly reductive why should we measure a woman's worth through her statistics vital

00:25statistics so do you think do you believe in that or you think that's not a that's an unfair

00:30criticism it's an unfair criticism and i think it's also important to note that beauty patterns

00:34have really evolved over the years right we have come a far away from a point in time when probably

00:41it was only the physical aspect that was very much highlighted and i think in today's day and age

00:46they are of prime importance because clearly they've given us a stage to engage ourselves and

00:52completely devote ourselves to a purpose and i think it's this purpose aspect which is given so

00:58much more weightage than the physical aspect of the competition people have this taboo attached

01:03that beauty is just to objectify women but i really want to break this myth because beauty

01:11pageants are more than that they make a woman so strong confident within herself it has evolved me

01:18it has given me challenges to become the best version of me it is doing for so many women every

01:23year there are so many women coming out to be more strong so independent and they are becoming

01:30the voice of their peers of their people around them so it's much more than that and we should

01:36appreciate the effort of these beauty pageants and the girls who are making to win and giving

01:41back to the society also now women are very aggressive towards her profession like they go

01:47whatever they know like they believe in their dream so now i can say that the beauty is not

01:53just to objectify it's internal as well because at Miss India stage i believe like whatever they

01:58have seen in us like beauty with brain with heart and what we have to give to the society so now

02:06it's all about the brain with heart and feeling what you do and confident that matters a lot

02:12will you guys join Bollywood and second what would you tell all the women who suffer from

02:16body image issues where body positivity is a new thing like we talk about it's okay to accept

02:21your flaws you know let's be flawed and fabulous for your first question if we are planning to

02:26enter Bollywood well life is full of unexpected opportunities and i guess if there is an

02:32opportunity you should not just say no directly to it but you should just see if you are fit for a

02:38certain situation or a certain experience then you should go for it and definitely i'll explore

02:45what life has to offer to me i think all i can say to that is that i've always loved a good

02:49challenge you know that way i'm an explorer i love new opportunities to push myself and so if

02:55there's something interesting that comes along the way then why not i came in this industry just for

03:01something which is really great which people get inspired by me so if if i'm getting new chances

03:07i'm definitely welcome with my both hands and i'll do my best because i know whatever i'll do

03:12people will look up to it and i'm really grateful that i've got this opportunity and

03:16if i'm getting any opportunity great opportunity i'm going to give my best for

03:21women of different shapes and sizes i mean there are people who are with different body types

03:27different colors who have a different skin texture so i guess these imperfection is what

03:32make us unique and beautiful than other people we should accept the way we are but the most

03:37important part is that we should be the best version of ourselves and not the best version

03:42of other people the world in general of course is heading towards a much more inclusive space

03:49especially on social media we see so many different figures you know embracing different

03:54forms of beauty which comes in different shapes, sizes, colors and i think that way as far as

04:00body positivity is concerned it has a lot to do with your mind and your sense of self the more

04:08inclusivity that we see on public platforms such as this will automatically lead to us feeling

04:14better about ourselves
