00:11She underwent major surgeries and has been under palliative care at a hospital for the
00:16last two months.
00:19Ms. Fatima is our patient since a few years and she underwent so many surgeries, she has
00:24so many diseases and advanced terminal diseases as well, which we discovered recently, unfortunately,
00:30which is not prone to any management.
00:33Main treatment for her actually is palliative care, including feeding, painkillers, antibiotics
00:38for her infections.
00:39As she battles the disease, it has been one of Fatima's last wishes to visit the beach.
00:46Since a few weeks, she's asking us to see the sea, because since a long time she did
00:51not see the sea, five years.
00:54She told me five years she didn't see the sea and rarely sees the sun as well.
00:58Prime Hospital, where she's been admitted, arranged a special team of doctors, nurses
01:03and caregivers to make this possible.
01:07So on a fine Wednesday morning, the team brought Fatima to Jumeirah, finally fulfilling her
01:12wish of seeing the beach once again after five years.
01:16We took the permission from family who welcomed the idea of taking her to the sea.
01:20We did it today with the support of our management, who is present with us actually today, also
01:25the nursing director.
01:26We could make her dream come true, alhamdulillah, by bringing her to Dubai Sea.
01:30She's very happy, actually.
01:31She told me jazakallah khair in Arabic, which means thank you very much, may Allah grant
01:35you a great thanks for taking this step for me.
01:39Since five years I didn't see the sea, so she is very happy, alhamdulillah.
01:43And we feel from inside very happy because we could achieve and fulfill this wish for
01:49the patient, which could be the last wish, we don't know, but God knows.
01:53It's our job to make her comfortable as much as possible, happy as much as possible.
