00:00The Department of Agrarian Reform increased their work last year,

00:04including their plans for 2025,

00:08including the distribution of more agricultural land to the Filipinos.

00:12Here is the report.

00:15The number of land that can be distributed to more than 186,000 Filipinos

00:21under the Marcos administration has reached 194,111.

00:26This is what the Department of Agrarian Reform increased

00:28in their plans for the new program of the Philippines.

00:31According to DARS Secretary Conrado Estrella III,

00:34it will count 132,393 e-titles or parcelized titles

00:39and 61,718 regular titles,

00:42which is equivalent to more than 200,000 hectares of land in total.

00:46The Department of Agrarian Reform also increased

00:47the 230,372 certificates of condonation and release of mortgage or COCROM

00:53that they were given to 198,364

00:56that they consider to be worth more than P10 billion.

01:00D.E.T. Estrella, this is a big help

01:02because farmers and their families will be able to use

01:05the money that they used to pay their debts

01:07for more important needs.

01:09Because they will no longer have to pay their debts,

01:13they can use their income

01:18for their personal needs

01:22such as the tuition fee of their children

01:25or for their medical expenses.

01:28Or they can use it so that they can engage

01:32in a more modern and scientific method of farming

01:39that will contribute to the climate change that we are calling.

01:42The agency's target is to give 600,000 COCROM

01:46by the end of this year.

01:48Aside from the e-titles and debts that were not paid,

01:50D.A.R. also increased the number of farm-to-market roads projects

01:55where more than 70,000 Filipinos benefited.

01:58They also resolved agrarian cases

02:02that reached 62,754

02:04with a resolution rate of 95.34%.

02:07For 2025,

02:09D.A.R.'s target is to divide 400,000 hectares of land

02:13by the following years

02:15and after it is divided in 2028.

02:17Along with the farm machinery equipment

02:20as a part of the modernization

02:21to improve the state and quality of life of our farmers.

02:26That is what we want,

02:28that they can achieve a life

02:35where they have enough income

02:39that they can use for their family

02:43and for farming

02:45so that there is food

02:49in every house of the Filipinos.
