00:00After President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appointed the former Bases Conversion and Development Authority or BCDA chief, Vince Dizon, as the new transport secretary,

00:09he will lead the flagship infrastructure project under the Build Better More program of the administration.

00:21From February 21, a new leader will lead the Department of Transportation.

00:29President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appointed the former Bases Conversion and Development Authority or BCDA chief, Vince Dizon, as the new transport secretary.

00:40This means that Dizon will lead the Department of Transportation under the Build Better More program of the administration.

00:54Dizon served in the previous administration. He was elected as the Presidential Advisor for Flagship Programs and Projects.

01:02He also extended his term of office as Deputy Chief Implementer of the National Action Plan Against COVID-19, Testing Czar, and Chief Coordinator of the Test, Trace, Treat Program.

01:15Aside from serving in the administration, Dizon also played a role in the private sector as the Chief Regulatory Officer of Prime Infra owned by business tycoon Enrique Razon.

01:28The Presidential Communications Office said that Dizon has extensive experience in the government service.

01:34He served for 26 years in both the legislature and the executive branch of the administration.

01:41Now that the secret of the DOTR is new, many are asking, is there any hope in the cabinet of the President?
