On 14th February 2019, India witnessed one of the deadliest terror attacks in Pulwama, where a Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber targeted a CRPF convoy, leading to the martyrdom of 40 brave soldiers. This tragic day is observed as Black Day to honor their sacrifice and condemn terrorism.
In response, under Operation Bandar, the Indian Air Force launched the Balakot Airstrike, destroying a major terror training camp across the LoC. Later, on 27th February, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman took down a Pakistani F-16, showcasing India's strength and resilience.
