It's been 11 years since the terror attacks in Mumbai that sent tremors thorugh our nation. It's been 11 years of coming to terms with those ghastly events and drawing lessons from the loopholes in the Indian security establishment and strengthening policies to battle threat of terrorism more effectively. We have come a long way but on this day, our minds and hearts always travel back to the past to the day when 174 of our country men and women and children were slaughtered on the streets and hotels of a buzzing city, by terrorists who travelled from Pakistan and rained bullets on innocent civilians in what has since been recognised as an anti-Indian, anti-western, antiIsraeli and indeed anti-humanity attack. We remember this day to pay tribute to those who died, we remember this day to ensure history can never repeat itself..
