A look around Much Wenlock Primary School.

00:00I'm absolutely thrilled to be the leader of this community school. Our vision is really
00:09clear. We want to unlock potential and empower every child to thrive. And that's driven through
00:15our values, which we call our Wrens. So it's wonder, which you can see through our wonderful
00:21EYFS hub. Resilience, so we want children to take opportunities and challenges, and
00:27we see that in abundance because they take part in the local live arts competition. Last
00:32night they were part of the dance festival. We take part in those sporting competitions.
00:38It's equity. We're a firm believer that we want everyone, every child to have a sense
00:43of belonging, and we want them to have the same opportunities. So we make sure we have
00:48a programme of opportunities and experiences for every single child. We also have nurture.
00:56We have a really special relationship and behaviour curriculum, not a policy, and that
01:01is all about nurture and how we treat each other, not just within our school but in our
01:05wider community. And the final value is sustainability. We care about our environment, and that can
01:12be seen with our sustainability ambassadors, but it goes further than that. We want to
01:17keep our school and our community sustainable, so we make links with local businesses, our
01:23local library, and also our local secondary school, and we want to be a hub, a hub for
01:29the community, and we also want to make sure we're the heartbeat of this community, and
01:34that's our vision going forward.
