00:00April 14 is the target of Comelec to prepare those who will use balotas.
00:13In the election of 2025, more than 72 million balotas will be printed according to Comelec.
00:26But the verification process is not that fast, with manual inspection and automated counting machine.
00:35Only 4 million balotas passed the standard and are considered as good balotas.
00:41On January 6, Comelec started printing balotas.
00:44It stopped on January 14, when the Supreme Court ordered to include in the balotas the names of 5 aspirants

00:59Because of this, the printed balotas of more than 6 million balotas had to be destroyed.
01:04After a few days, the Supreme Court issued a temporary restraining order
01:08to include in the balotas the names of 3 aspirants.
01:12The printing of balotas started again on January 27.
01:18Comelec added 200 verifiers to inspect the printed balotas,
01:22as well as 100 verifiers from the National Printing Office.
01:28This is to speed up the verification process.
01:31According to Comelec, they are expected to reach the April 14 deadline of printing.
01:37Along with the tight security in Amoranto where verification is done,
01:43Comelec assured that it is impossible for the so-called syndicates
01:48to defeat the candidates and manipulate the machines and balotas.
01:55They are also monitoring the information of a former employee of the commission
01:59who was involved in the distribution of the balotas.
