USC Trojans' Lincoln Riley Recognizes L.A. Wildfires

00:00It'll be a much longer opening statement than you guys are used to for me.

00:05So first, definitely want to recognize just our community,

00:08obviously all the damage from the fires in previous weeks,

00:12been something that's been heavy on the heart of our entire program.

00:17We were very, very fortunate that we had a very limited number of people within

00:21our program that were affected when you talk about former players,

00:26current players and staff, so very, very fortunate that way.

00:29But it's also something that's become very important to our team from an outreach

00:34standpoint to make sure that we're supporting our community, the first responders.

00:38I've been very proud of just our team's response, how involved and

00:42engaged our staff has been, our guys have been with that effort, and

00:45those are certainly gonna continue.

00:46And again, our hearts and prayers go out to all the people affected and

00:50the entire community, and it's something we feel.

00:53We know USC is a huge part of Los Angeles, the amount of support that we get,

00:58how close this city is, it's just.
