00:30Charles III, by the grace of God, of the United Kingdom, of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,
00:48and of our other realms and territories, King, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the
00:53Faith, to all Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and all other our subjects whatsoever to whom
01:00these presents shall come, greeting. Know ye that we, of our special grace, certain
01:07knowledge and mere motion, in pursuance of the Life Peerages Act, 1958, and of all other
01:15powers in that behalf us enabling, do, by these presents, advance, create and prefer
01:23our trusty and well-beloved Joanne Catherine Cash, to the state, degree, style, dignity,
01:33title and honour of Baroness Cash, of Banbridge, in our County of Downe. And for us, our heirs
01:43and successors, to appoint, give and grant unto her the said name, state, degree, style,
01:51dignity, title and honour of Baroness Cash, to have and to hold unto her for her life.
02:01Willing and by these presents granting, for us, our heirs and successors, that she may
02:07have, hold and possess a seat, place and voice in the Parliaments and Public Assemblies
02:15and Councils of us, our heirs and successors, within our United Kingdom, amongst the Barons.
02:23And also that she may enjoy and use all the rights, privileges, preeminences, immunities
02:29and advantages, to the degree of a Baron duly and of right belonging, which Barons of our
02:36United Kingdom have heretofore used and enjoyed, or as they do at present, use and enjoy.
02:44In witness whereof, we have caused these our letters to be made patent. Witness ourself
02:51at Westminster, in the afternoon of the 28th day of January, in the third year of our reign.
02:59I, Joanne, Baroness Cash, do swear by Almighty God that I will be faithful and bear true
03:16allegiance to His Majesty King Charles, his heirs and successors. According to law, so
