00:00You know it's Ramadan, specifically because everybody's timing, schools and there are
00:11a lot of these iftar functions which happen, you get to meet clients, family, I think it's
00:15a time when you connect back with a lot of people and you see people are, the whole focus
00:21is very spiritual, this full month, very much spiritual, everybody's into prayer, connecting.
00:29I fasted a year ago, and I fasted these four days of Ramadan.
00:35I fasted multiple years, it's one of the first days I'm doing it while having exams.
00:40For the first day, my tummy was okay because I would usually, I woke up in the morning
00:46eight and then at four I woke up and then eight, and then it was kind of rumbling, hurting,
00:52but I tried forgetting about it and it was hurting more because I had, I was learning
00:58and I had a headache, but then I came back and slept and it all went away and then we
01:03had iftar.
01:04The first day was easy because everyone was doing it, so we were all, like all my friends
01:08were all doing it together, but then the second day, I remember like my stomach was just like,
01:13I really need some food right now, but I just distract myself when I'm studying and when
01:18I'm doing the test, I don't really think about eating and I eat when I'm bored, so I just
01:23like to keep my mind occupied.
01:25When we all sit down on the table together after like my parents have had work and I
01:29go to school when we're all sitting together, that's like the time when we can all talk
01:33and you know, talk about our day, so we get to spend a lot of time now, even with the
01:38timings we get to see a lot of each other.
01:40What I love most about iftars is that usually my mom and my dad, they're at work and me
01:47and my sister are at school, so we don't probably get to see each other most of the days, so
01:53we get to see each other when we're fasting and like we're having iftars together and
01:59it's really like fun when we're all talking together and stuff.
