00:10Absolutely, there is no scenario in which the expulsion of more than 2 million people from their homes
00:18is going to cause anything but further crisis and instability.
00:23But it's also important that we keep in mind that around 70% of the Palestinians in Gaza are already refugees.
00:30The majority of the Palestinian people were displaced and expelled from their homes in 1948.
00:35So we're not talking about a singular act of displacement or transfer here.
00:40We're talking about a long-term repeated condition that has been imposed on the Palestinian people,
00:46starting with their original dispossession in 1948.
