00:00Najib Razaq will file a request to start a humiliating proceeding against former State Attorney Ahmad Tereruddin Saleh, said Attorney Shafiee Abdullah.

00:12The former Chief Minister's lawyer said that based on the requested request,

00:17a series of Tereruddin's failures led to the issuance of an addendum authorizing Najib to serve his sentence under house arrest.

00:26In a media statement at the court, Shafiee said the request would be filed as late as this Friday.

00:34Last month, Shafiee told the appeal court that the addendum was sent by Pahang on January 29, 2024 to Tereruddin.

00:45Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim confirmed that the addendum was accepted by Tereruddin,

00:50but was sent back to the state palace after Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar became the 17th President.

00:58Najib has obtained permission from the Court of Appeal to start a humiliating proceeding

01:04to force Putrajaya to implement the addendum issued by Agom earlier

01:09to authorize him to serve his sentence under house arrest.
