00:10stories at this hour. At least three members of the same family have committed suicide
00:15in Sharjah. The incident, described by the Sharjah police as a group suicide, involved
00:19a Sri Lankan man, his wife, their son and two female relatives, in which the latter
00:25two survived.
00:26On August 29, the man jumped to his death from the seventh floor of his building at
00:302.30 am. Aung San Suu Kyi has blamed terrorists for a huge iceberg of misinformation about
00:36violence in Myanmar that has forced more than 120,000 Rohingya into Bangladesh. The de facto
00:42leader of Myanmar is under growing pressure to halt clearance operations by security forces
00:48in Rakhine state that the UN has warned could verge on ethnic cleansing. Suu Kyi claimed
00:54that Myanmar had already started defending all the people in Rakhine in the best way
00:59possible.
01:00Virgin Mobile, which launched its telecom services in the UAE on Tuesday, is targeting
01:04millennials and other individuals that are digital-focused. Kareem Benkirain, managing
01:10director of Virgin Mobile's business unit in the UAE, said the team had developed an
01:14innovative digital platform to provide customers an app-based product. Virgin Mobile is a second
01:20brand of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, the parent company of Do, and operates
01:26under the same license.
01:27American actress Meghan Markle has opened up about her relationship with British royal
01:32Prince Harry in a candid interview, confirming the couple are in love. Markle, a star of
01:37US legal drama Suits, told Vanity Fair that she and the prince dated for months before
01:42going public about their relationship last year.
01:45A grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and the second son of Prince Charles and the late
01:50Diana, Harry is fifth in line to the throne.
01:53And finally, the weather. Today's high across the UAE will be 40 degrees Celsius, dropping
