00:09at this hour. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Vice President and
00:14Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, on Sunday launched the Mohammed bin Rashid
00:19al-Maktoum Global Initiatives, a foundation combining several organizations under a single
00:24umbrella. The initiatives will have an annual budget of 1 billion dirhams and will focus
00:28on four key areas, spreading knowledge, combating poverty, empowering communities, and innovation
00:34for the future. It will work within 116 countries, focusing mainly on the Arab region. Daesh
00:39militants in northern Syria have blown up another monument in the ancient city of Palmyra.
00:44The Arch of Triumph, thought to have been built around 2,000 years ago, was pulverized
00:49by the terrorists who controlled the city. Daesh have already destroyed two ancient temples
00:53at the site. Hundreds were rescued from fast-moving floodwaters Sunday in South Carolina as days
