07:14have your future on the Eagles, and that's what we all probably want you to get.
07:18How concerned are you that Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey and this whole gang of Chiefs
07:23that seem to just never lose can get this three peat?
07:26Very concerned, breaking down the game.
07:30I think the Eagles, so it's a mistake to say that this is going to be like the last
07:36Super Bowl, because I think the Eagles are significantly better.
07:38I do.
07:39I think Saquon obviously adds a completely different element to their rushing attack.
07:43He's been out of this world good in the playoffs.
07:46The Eagles' defense is maybe younger on the defensive line.
07:51Some of those guys, Fletcher Cox retired, Brandon Graham, I don't know if he's going
07:53to play.
07:54Jalen Carter's been an absolute monster.
07:57And then their secondary, Quinion Mitchell is one of the best rookies in last year's
08:03draft.
08:04He's been a shutdown corner.
08:06My concern is I think the Eagles are the better team, but it's still Patrick Mahomes, and
08:12that's really what it comes down to.
08:13I think that the Eagles are going to ... I'm interested in what the Chiefs do with Joe
08:21Tooney, if they keep him at tackle, because you've seen they're not been able to ... They
08:24weren't running the ball very well against the Bills, and they aren't going to be able
08:29to run the ball very well against the Eagles, because he's moved to left tackle.
08:33They've lost a little something.
08:34They were really elite running behind the guards.
08:37Now they're not as elite.
08:38So will they maybe move him back?
08:40I don't know.
08:41And I think the Chiefs ... Here's what it is.
08:43The Chiefs' defense, I think, is a little overrated.
08:48I think the Chiefs' offense is a little underrated, because Patrick Mahomes has something about
08:52him in the playoffs where he flips the switch, and he's so elite.
08:55He was as good as you could get against the Bills.
09:00I'm taking the Eagles, not just because of the future, but I think they're the better
09:03team.
09:05I just hope the Eagles can figure out a way to not have this be Patrick Mahomes with the
09:09ball, one score game with four minutes left, because then just rip it up, it's over.
09:14That's the difference.
09:15It really comes down to that.
09:16It's like the Eagles on paper are a better team top to bottom than the Chiefs, but the
09:20Chiefs have the best quarterback in the game, and the guy who always comes up big late,
09:24and no matter what the situation is, he'll find a way.
09:27And Andy Reid is a better coach than Nick Cerroni.
09:29Nick Cerroni's a great coach, but you saw it in the Bills game, the AFC Championship
09:33game.
09:34Andy Reid had a few wrinkles, and Spaggs had a few wrinkles.
09:37The Bills had never seen before, and that's the difference in these high leverage games.
09:41So I'm going with the Eagles.
09:43I am not confident, because Patrick Mahomes, all he does is win Super Bowls.
09:48I saw you were going through it on Twitter when you were so anti-Chiefs, which you've
09:52been for the last couple years, and then eventually you were like, well, fuck it.
09:55I guess I'm just going to have to root for a three-peat at this point.
09:57So where do you stand?
09:58No, I mean, I'm going Eagles.
10:01I got to stand on everything I've wanted for basically the last three years, and that's
10:05the kingdom of fall.
10:06I feel like dynasties they build, they fall eventually.
10:10Listen, all of America outside of Chiefs' kingdom is where Dan's head is at.
10:17The Eagles are deeper.
10:18The Eagles are better talent-wise.
10:21I feel like it's going to come down to, you know, you're going to get Andy Reid's best.
10:25The fact that they're running plays that you haven't seen at all whatsoever to prepare
10:30for against the Bills is what makes Andy Reid and that Chiefs organization so great.
10:35I think it's a massive game for Kellen Moore.
10:37See what wrinkles that they have in there offensively, because if you go back a few
10:40weeks ago to the Packers, where it just seemed like the Packers were dialed in on everything
10:44that the Eagles were doing offensively, not being predictable, not having the tendencies.
10:48Because although the Chiefs' defense could be underrated, you know, they do such an incredible
10:52job of playing team defense, understanding everything that's going on around them in
10:56that Spags coached defense.
10:58And they have some guys on the back end, McDuffie, just locking, strapping cats down against
11:04the Bills last week.
11:05Every time Josh was trying them one-on-one, it felt like Big Cat when we were in the cave
11:08watching Herbert go after, what's his name, Stangley for the Texans.
11:14McDuffie's just a locked down corner right now, Justin Reid is a baller in the back end.
11:18They have linebackers who can run and hit very well.
11:20They're very savvy.
11:21They've been in the system for years.
11:23That defensive line, I mean, Chris Jones, they're going to try to find the mismatch
11:26on the offensive line of the Eagles that he can kind of expose.
11:30It's just going to come down to that fourth quarter, man.
11:32I was talking to Dan too, like before we did the case race, like my perfect scenario is
11:37that there's like a minute 25 on the clock in the fourth quarter.
11:41The Eagles are up by four points.
11:43The Eagles are around midfield offensively, probably, let's say, their own 45.
11:47The Eagles are on their own 45-yard line.
11:50It's fourth and five.
11:52The question, hey, do we go for it, do we punt, maybe fourth and four to really put
11:57the moment on.
11:58Do they go for it to try to ice them out or do they punt the ball with a minute 25 left
12:02on the clock?
12:03To the Chiefs, try to pin them inside the 10 with two timeouts left, and let's go see
12:08if Mahomes is going to get this three-peat in a row.
12:10Let's see if the Eagles, this number one defense, is going to stand up because they
12:14have all the cats in the world to defend this roster.
12:17That's the moment I want to see.
12:19If the Chiefs go in three-peat, I want to see it on the biggest possible moment that
12:23we've ever seen because it will be electric, it'll be historical, it'll be something that's
12:27talked about forever.
12:28Then, if it doesn't and it falls and the Eagles stand it up, we're going to be talking about
12:32that and remembering that forever.
12:33That is the moment I want to see, but I'm riding with the Eagles.
12:36Yeah, you got to go for it in that scenario.

12:54it's insane.
12:55If they complete this three-peat, they are the best team ever in NFL history.

13:05It is nuts to watch what they're doing and the fact that they ... I don't think a team
13:09has ever gotten back to a third Super Bowl after winning the previous two.
13:14Even that is insane.
13:17I'm not rooting for the Chiefs, but I also can take a step back and if they end up winning
13:22this game, realize the greatness that is Patrick Holmes and Andy Reid and Chris Jones.
13:27Chris Jones, by the way, deserves a special shout out because he's just as important to
13:32this dynasty as anyone else.
13:35What he's asked to do, the way he was stuffing that Josh Allen sneak, everything goes with
13:40Chris Jones.
13:43He's the quarterback on defense and the fact that you need Chris Jones in the fourth quarter
13:47to make two or three impact plays that change the outcome and he does it time and time again.
13:55I'm not going to sit here and be like, oh, this is bullshit or the rigged stuff.
13:59Chiefs are insane.
14:00If they do this, they deserve to be in football immortality for being the best team of all
14:06time and the only team to three pizza Super Bowl.

14:10I mean, all the conversations about will there ever be another Tom Brady, I mean, obviously
14:12he did it over multiple decades and did it with two different teams, but like Patrick
14:15Mahomes, I mean, he's already in the conversation, I think, but if you win three in a row like
14:19this, especially at his age, it is a very fair thing to just recognize that greatness
14:23even if people have Chiefs fatigue.

14:50You know, and, and I think if you put Russ on the Eagles and I don't want to make this
14:55show, but if you, if you put Russ on, on that Eagles team with that offensive line, I think
15:01you've got the same result.
15:02I think he's going to the Superbowl, but anyway, I think those offensive line, that offensive
15:06line is legit.
15:08I think, I think they're going to figure out a way to limit Chris Jones.
15:12I know he's great.
15:13I know he's impactful, but I think first things first, you got to find a way to take him out
15:18of the game and what the Eagles have done this year, um, similar to the Chiefs, what
15:23they do is they take away your best player.

15:27So I think this game is one of the trenches.

15:55I was like, I think the Eagles are the best team in the NFC.

16:11I do as much as I love, I, you know, I I've grown to actually like my homes.

16:53I think he leads the, the Eagles in receiving yards in the playoffs.
16:57Um, so I, I, I think he's going to be a big part of this game plan for Jalen hurts and
17:03we'll see.

17:25They have Goddard that can equalize you.
17:27And it's just like, I don't see how the chiefs beat them, but that's kind of the story of
17:32the chiefs.
17:33Like even last year against the Niners Niners defense run game, all the things that have
17:37to make a super bowl champion, but the chiefs just always find a way.
17:40And to go back to on the Chris Jones thing, I think, uh, it's like, no matter what I'm
17:45going to say, it's rigged.
17:46If the chiefs win, but being able to appreciate what the chiefs done, being able to appreciate
17:51what the chiefs done, like even on this story of Chris Jones, there's a couple of years
17:54ago, right?
17:55Where he was holding out because he wanted a max, he wanted to get paid how we should
17:58get paid.
17:59And he's betting on himself to prove what a valuable asset he is to the team.
18:02And I think if they do win, it's like, even for both of those, for both of those parties
18:06to sit back and be like, Chris Jones made the right move.
18:09And the chiefs realizing like, Hey, this was the right move to have him back and have him
18:12with us the entire time.
18:14It's just, those things will be really cool.
18:15But however, if the chiefs do win, I will be saying it's rigged.
