The Hook

Mostly used when the target is in close range, the boxer will bring the fist with the palm downwards round in a hooking motion bending the elbow about 90 degree angle and hit the target with the back of the knuckles.

The power is developed from the movement of your shoulder, hip and foot into the punch.

Both rear and lead fists can be used to perform the hook just like the straight punch.
