00:10In the second armed robbery of its kind, a seven-member gang attacked a UAE citizen and
00:15his wife in their apartment in London, but they are unharmed. That's according to the
00:20UAE Ambassador to the UK, Abdulrahman Khanim al-Mutawi. The masked robbers, who carried
00:25hammers, knives and guns, broke the door and entered the apartment, threatened the family
00:29and stole their money, jewelry and credit cards.
00:32Rival Palestinian leaders from the West Bank and Gaza Strip have decided to form a government
00:37of national unity within the next five weeks. That's according to officials. The agreement
00:42between members of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Hamas was reached following
00:46talks in Gaza City, which began on Tuesday evening.
00:50Lebanon's parliament will meet today to try and elect the new president, kicking off what's
00:54expected to be a lengthy and fiercely contested vote for the country's top Christian post
00:59amid regional unrest.
