00:47begins Tuesday, February 11.
00:50The Alianza para sa Bagong Pilipinas holds its opening salvo at the Centennial Arena
00:54in Lawag, Ilocos Norte.
00:56Ilocos Norte is neither strategic nor vote-rich, but it is the base of the powerful Marcos
01:01clan's political power.
01:02Marcos' traditional bailiwick extends beyond Ilocos Norte and into nearby provinces, often
01:07collectively called as the Solid North.
01:10The coalition says Marcos will be making the case for continuity and stability under his
01:14leadership.
01:16Of the 12 Senate bets, 10 were among the winnable 14 in the last PulseAsia's Senatorial Preference

01:29Pink candidates Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino return to Cavite Tuesday, February 11 to officially
01:34set in motion their campaign to regain Senate seats.
01:38The two held their kickoff rally in Dasmariñas, the city with the most number of voters in
01:42the province.
01:43Cavite has a voting population of almost 2.5 million.
01:47In 2022, they helped draw one of the biggest rallies for then-presidential candidate Leni
01:51Robredo in General Trias and Dasmariñas.
01:54Pangilinan and Aquino are banking on the Leni magic, the, quote, pink wave that delivered
01:5815 million votes for former Vice President Leni Robredo in 2022.
02:02Aquino presents the Kiko-Bam tandem as an alternative to the two dominant camps, the
02:07Marcos and Duterte factions.

03:02personnel to remove campaign materials, but also instructed them not to touch materials
03:06on private property.
03:10Oplan Baklas became controversial in previous elections for removing campaign materials
03:22from private structures.
03:24Under COMELEC Resolution 11086, printed election materials are subject to size restrictions,
03:29must be displayed in designated poster areas, and should be made from biodegradable materials.
03:34Violating candidates are given three days to remove their materials or face penalties,
03:39including possible disqualification or imprisonment for up to six years.
03:45President Donald Trump signs an executive order encouraging the U.S. government and
03:48consumers to buy plastic drinking straws.
03:51The move pushes back efforts by former President Joe Biden to phase out single-use plastics.
03:57The executive order is part of Trump's wider campaign to undermine environmental commitments,
04:02including one of his first actions, which was to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement.
04:06Meantime, Trump says Hamas should release all hostages by midday Saturday, February 15,
04:11or he will propose the cancellation of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and, quote,
04:15let hell break out.
04:17He expresses frustration with the condition of the recently freed hostages and the group's
04:21decision to halt further releases.
04:23Trump also says he could reach an agreement with Jordan and Egypt to host the displaced
04:27Palestinians, noting that the U.S. provides both countries with, quote,
