00:30It was very exciting because I saw the first exhibition in Paris before doing the picture
00:50for the new edition.
00:51It's an amazing exhibit and I loved it so it was very exciting to be a part of it.
00:58It was very quick and there were a lot of girls, everybody was chatting and trying on
01:05different clothes.
01:06In his studio in Paris, it was very relaxed, professional, but not too square, I think.
01:15It was fun.
01:16I always loved the brand and especially this little black jacket.
01:19They showed me a few pictures they had already shot.
01:21I really liked what Karl did because in the end you don't even see the jacket anymore,
01:27it's more about the people wearing it and connecting with those people and their different
01:31personalities and I think it really succeeded.
01:33I like this picture.
01:35When I arrived, I had three different options for the styling.
01:38The two other options were way more dressed up and this one was a bit more relaxed and
01:42it was a bit different from the other pictures I've seen at that time from the project.
01:46I like when I see all those pictures is I can actually see what I felt when I shot the
01:51picture.
01:52The whole process was full of energy because they were shooting this back to back within
01:56a very short period of time.
01:59We shot it within maybe 10 minutes only, maybe less.
02:03I think it was like this for most of the pictures.
02:05People were just showing up, putting on the jacket, people were doing a few pics and that's it.
02:09The idea is a bit like a snapshot and I like it.
02:12This photo, this photo, was all about being fun and we were like, let's pretend that David
02:20Bowie and Marilyn Monroe had a baby and let's try and make the kids.
02:26It was more of like, you know, I just loved the fact that I was being shot by Carl.
02:31It was just kind of like whatever.
02:33We do whatever we want, which was really nice as well and we had fun with it.
02:37It's a very glamorous but still cool photo.
02:39It really just kind of is a simple photo and it is all about what the book is about, The
02:43Little Black Jacket.
02:44You know what's so cool?
02:45He's just got so much energy and to have energy at that age and to experience everything you've
02:52experienced in the fashion world and to literally have changed the fashion world and just be
02:56Carl Lagerfeld and still walk in the room and say hello to the lighting man, that's
03:03a big deal.
03:04I was a bit nervous, you know, I heard that he was a very cool guy but still it's Carl
03:08so I was a bit nervous.
03:09It was in his studio, which was incredible, there were just books everywhere.
03:13It was kind of like a make-believe place and there was just so much creativity going
03:17around the room.
03:18It was so nice and I love being in a room of energy.
03:22I read of energy so much, that's how I make my music, you know, I walk around the streets
03:27and people watch, for example, and I love just feeling life and that's what this shoot
03:32was about, you know, everyone has a specific pose, a specific way of being and it's just
03:37life in a book and that's what makes it such a great book.
03:43I love it.
03:44I love it.
03:45I love it.
03:46I love it.
