00:00First of all, we are six rescuers. We have two specifically trained dogs for search and rescue.
00:11We have also come here with two 4x4 vehicles. We also, as you can see here in this tent,
00:18we have prepared our operations center. So we are able to search and rescue people from very tight
00:32spaces, both we as human beings and also the dogs. And also we have some very special equipment
00:42which is used to bend sheets of metal such as car doors or even regular doors. With this way we can
00:51open the space so we can assist better. Most parts of Greece are in mountains.
01:02So Santorini is not very different to any other place here in Greece. So as far as this goes,
01:11it's not much harder than any other place. Also, as I mentioned before, when an earthquake
01:20happens and we are here in the possible event of an earthquake, the worst case scenario is that a
01:29victim is trapped inside a home, inside a destroyed house or inside a destroyed building.
01:36So this does not change whether it is in Santorini or whether it is on the mainland of Greece.
